From a guy in the US, he sold it to me at a steal [$250 IF I remember correctly], the Tricorder is gone now :(
I reap it apart hoping to learn more about the inner working, only to find out that the electronics are outdated :(
In today's generation, Microcontrollers are the way to go.

Nope, but in any case, I have cut the speakers off the Tricorder.
As I actually play with this when I am outside, the sounds is really annoying.
