the graveyard scene is so brilliant. murder IN a cemetory. Cyber masscre at christmas.. the setting of this ep couldn't be better the Cybermen evoke the industrial revolution and mechanisation of Victorian London. the Christmas setting evokes Oliver Twist (as does the ending) and bcos its christmas theres snow so we are reminded of some classic Cyberman stories

A lot of people say they don't like this episode, but I really like it, the sword fight with the cybermen was the Doctor at his coolest for me in this episode and he is brilliant in this story

@227060 I love it personally, its a great story, with a great setting, great characters, and it has the Cybermen which we need more of, but not too much like with The Daleks, yeah I don't know either, I guess everyoen is entitled to their opinions but I don't know what their problem with it is

@BarneystudiozFilmz ah dr who fandom can just be a bit extreme. it comes with a being fans of a show with so much variety different strokes for different folks. I think we need more Cybermen too. Im curious why the Cybermen in series 6 look like Pete's World Cybermen BUT clearly are more advanced. i like to think the ones from out universe and the alt universe emt up and shared thier tech

I'm also enjoying Matt Smith, but for me David Tennant *is* the Doctor - the absolute best ever. And that's from a 38 year old who grew up loving Tom Baker's version of The Doctor and thinking that no one would ever beat him. David Tennant was born for the role.....you could tell he was a fan and he put his soul into it. I can't see that in Matt Smith, but he's OK.

@slitheen i agree with you that DT is The Doctor, and i also think that Matt Smith is brilliant. To say that he isn't putting his soul into the role is completely unfair. In an interview he said that he rated himself as an 8 and he wasn't happy with that and he wants very much to get better and be a ten. He has also said that he wants to play the role of the Doctor for as long as he can. That sounds to me as though he's putting his soul into it.

I don't see why most people are critisising Matt Smith for playing the doctor. Yes Tennant was good but it does mean that Smith isn't I think it's a bit unfair but thats my opinion ;) Tennant was great at his time but I suppose he gets old as will Smith but that's why they have "regeneration" XD!

"Gets old"? Not another one who thinks Doctor Who started in 2005? LOL...check the first few actors to play the Doctor, they were MUCH older, and that wasn't a bad thing - they were fantastic. David Tennant is 39....that is NOT "old. 'Experienced'...yes. 'Charismatic'...yes. "Old"....no.

@Faifan123 his mind would probably get fried. Doctors latest companion donna accidentally got a copy of everything in Doctors mind. Every memory, every knowledge, everything! But all that knowledge is to much for a human brain, so doctor had to erase every memory she had of doctor and the tardis. If she got reminded she'll die. probably the same with the new doctor.
