My favorite book is Breaking Dawn. I really like, that Bella wants to keep her baby, no mamtter what, beacause it is the same choice I would have made in that situation. I think, it is very mature for her to risk her life for something (someone) she belives in. But I feel really sorry for Jake.

I think that Bella would have ended up with Jake.. Coz even before she met Edward, Jacob had a thing for her. So that Imprinted thing still applies because he is a wolf by blood. It runs in his veins, althought if Edward was not in Forks, he wouldnt have changed he would still have that inprinted instinct in him because the wolf inprinting thing still runs in his blood. Bella would have eventually become to fall for the idea that Jacob is always there for her so yes she would have feel for Jake

If Edward never existed and never got Bella suspicious about what he was, then the story Jacob told her about the cold ones wouldn't have been so significant, and Bella wouldnt have liked Jacob as much. The whole reason they got so close and bonded was because Edward left, and if he never came into the story that wouldn't have happened, and Bella and Jacob would remain just kind of friends.

the only problem i have with imprinting is that it's forced, so it can't be true love. Jacob HATES the baby before it's born, then he falls in love with it? the fact that his conscious heart hated the baby shows that his "imprinted" heart isn't showing true love - he's basically forced to love her

Well the whole reason she got so close to Jacob is because Edward left and sent her into a deep depression. If Edward didnt show up then she would still view Jacob in a friend way instead of someone who healed her heart in a way. If Edward didnt show up then they would still be friends and thats it.

Edward freaked out not just because she was pregnant and stuff but because yeah firstly it should have been impossible and second it could kill her of course he doesent think of it as a baby he must have let go of the idea of kids over 100 years ago when he became a vampire and it was rosalie that wanted a kid and wanted bella to have children so of course bella would call rosalie for help and not alice who would have put bella first

I don't know that she would be with Jake, cause she would still feel like something was missing in her life. Because if Edward didn't exist then Jake wouldn't have turned into a wolf cause none of the vampires would be in Forks. So the element of out of the ordinary that Bella feels really fits her wouldn't be there with Jake either. I think she would still love him, but the situation would still be the same, she wouldn't be in love with him.

No, they wouldn't be together. Bella likes the mature Jacob that has phased and the reason shape-shifters/the wolves phase is because vampires are around. Yeah, there are the rest of the Cullens, but I think Jacob phased because of the forward contact with Edward. Since Jacob wouldn't phase, he'd still be his immature self and Jacob would become more like a brother, rather than a lover, to Bella. So no, they wouldn't be together. :P

I think that it could have gone either way because Edward was the reason that Bella gave Forks a chance and she only really liked being there because of Edward. But then again, through Billy and Charlie's friendshiip, Jacob and Bella would be spending lots of time hanging out while their dad's hung out. Bella also said in New Moon that she would rather hang out with Jacob then her friends her age. I think they would have started out as friends and then it would have just grown strong over time.

I don't find the imprinting creepy, merely a reflection of fate, as was said in the video. Edward and Bella were MEANT to be together, MEANT to have a baby so Jacob could imprint on that hybrid. It all happened because it was meant to, according to the way things seem to be written. I could write an essay on fate in the twilight saga but I'm just going to leave it at that.

With the imprinting thing, the imprinted falls for the imprinter because the imprinter becomes the ideal person for the imprinted. the relationship is determined by what the imprinted needs from the imprinter. Sure, they probably would have been friends, but not in love like they were. Renesmee's love for Jacob was overshadowed by Bella's love for Edward during New Moon and Eclipse.
