I live in Australia and I have come face to face with those comodo dragon motherfuckers several times. They were much bigger than me in size and almost as fast as I could run. Scary motherfuckers they are. I managed to chase them off my camp site with a spear. I would hate to be chased by them and then fall over.

Komodo Dragons don't hunt in packs and they are also slow. They use the bacteria on their teeth to infect prey once bitten and they use their amazing sense of smell to track them down when injured and weak with disease, they are also fairly tame creatures and probably wouldn't harm a Human. They are also scavengers and don't tend to hunt, and as they are at the top of the food chain in the area they live, nothing really hunts them. It is possible they ate the corpse of the man, however.
