It's hard to believe three-quarters are opposed to the OHare expansion, and they are still going to expand the runways to basically nowhere. This is pathetic and in my opinion garbage, something fishy is going on in Illinois
Some os framed the arguments/decisions this way; If a new airport was built, it would have been way out of town, beyond Chicagos boundries, meaning beyond their patronage machine. By expanding O'Hare they keep control and the money.
That's great. Now I will have more airplane noise in my backyard.
