I think that the way a singer looks like or dresses like has nothing to do with her singing technique or with the music quality.

I'm tired of seeing people that comment about the clothes to put down a singer (this happens with both Tarja and Anette) . They are singers, if we want to judge them, we should talk about their music, not their clothes.

Plus, there is nothing wrong with changing parts of a song in order to give it a more personal sound, or being creative.

I get what you mean, that judging their clothes is random. But at the same time, it's something that you can't help notice. It adds to what I was saying about how the music is presented.

No, changing parts isn't the problem, but taking away the personality of the song is what bothered me.

It's ok... I think we both understand why sometimes we get defensive... It should be a normal think to like both Tarja and Anette. Even if you have a favourit, that doesn't deny that both are tallented in their unique way. Plus its not Anette's fault that Tarja was dismissed and its not Tarja's fault that a lot of People still want her to play Nightwish's songs! And what really calms me is that they respect eachother a lot, they are being professional and fans should follow that!

@musicredshoes I agree. I think that it's fine to like them both, I do. I also just happen to pick on them about little things, but I'm never 100% serious about it. They both have very beautiful voices and I still don't think either have reached their full potential- but not in a bad way. They are very professional about it. Whenever one is asked about the other they both have always said such nice things about the other one. I can't even imagine a reason for them to hate each other.
