@jennyrichins When I was a kid i had really fine and pin straight hair I'd go to school in the morning in a pretty braid and by the end of the day i'd lose it. try the pony tails with the grips it's what I use now, when I have second day flat ironed hair, my pony's just fall right out. So i now use the Goody StayPut Hair Elastics. They work phenominally and my never falls out.

I noticed that you had trouble getting the "O" into a nice bun & to cover the ribbon you used. I used to be in the Army & was taught by a DS how to use a "sock bun" to get the beautiful, full buns ballerinas use. I have very fine hair & at the time my hair was to my lower back, but the DS who taught me had textured, shoulder length hair, & it worked for us both. Just search for "sock bun" here on YouTube & there will be videos that show how to make & use one. Cute style, though.
