not a kit yet..the guy in town i got this from is doing a pusher and has started on another turbine originally was to be mine but got this instead...Bill Hempel is doing one beginging of year 60% size..i talked to him about mine already
He flew it and made the main gear movable untill he got it to rotate off the ground comfortably..thought i had the only one but utube has a guy other country flying two Pepsi half scale,s and i can,t get an answer from him..i will send video when i get it flying..tell me more about Hempil,s plane
Ok Thanks ! Have you flown it yet ? Any pictures or info you could send me at all ? Would really help as i said, i really have been looking to do one for years and a DA85 / E-quiverlant would be perfect on 24 Cells. Got 100 cc conversions already. Many thanks from Oz !
i got this from a member on RCuniverse name is AU117..he live,s in town of Champaign illinois right next to me.. also got the F9 Panther you see in my video,s from him he flew in Top Gun event. the Bd-5 was layed up by him he is now makeing another one as a pusher prop with a DA 85 engine in the middle.the pilot is very scale all the clothes were hand sewn on a machine i just got a Flyeagle F-14 in this week Lowel Wexel got the first one got the bombs with it for free check their website
Wow...I have been looking for a Giant scale BD-5 for years...built a few smaller ones. Please tell me more about this 50% as i really would like to build one. Bill Hempel is developing a 60% ARF as we speak. First flight october 09...
