  • right listen i dont ride with a helmet and i never only time i use one is for shows if u dont wear your helmet its not like its instant death x

  • i dont ride with a helment and its up to the mom or dad if she whers a helment and the horse is not running fast or nothing and not every body likes them i have wore one befor and i got a bad headace and it was makeing me where i cant really ride because i hated it

  • its okay not to wear a helmet! i never wear helmets. they can be hot and stuffy and even if it isnt tight on me i STILL get headaches!its up to the parents, not the viewers. helmets cant stop you from braking limbs, and it cant always save your life. lots of people die with them still...not that you dieby riding horses.helmets also arent as fun. TOO safe... anyways cute girl and beautifuk horse.

  • i never ride with a helmet much more fun and reckless

  • Clearly her horse had no plans of running or bucking so I really don't think its that big of a deal if she was waring a helmet of not. But I would recommend that she wares one later in life when she isn't riding a babysitter horse... She's really cute though!

  • People chill. im sure if the horse was known for not being a "baby sitter" horse, they woulda made her wear a helmet!!

    CUTE<3

  • I have been riding for as long as I can remember and I have never used a helmet and my 3 and 2 year old little girls do not use a helmet. not a big deal!

  • IT is entirely up to the parent to grow up and be an adult and make their child wear a helmet. You're the parent. Do parent's think it is cool if their kid doesn't wear a helmet? There was a time children rode in cars without seat belts as well and many people didn't see the point of carseats and yet they have saved lives. So stop being ignorant and saying you don't need a helmet and go out and buy a cute matching riding helmet for the child

  • yeah yeah no helmet....if horse rears and she falls and brakes her neck, helmet don't help for that...we can be walking, trip, fall, get hit on the head and die for all we know, not much point in being paranoid, if they're risking breaking their skull from a fall then let them

what about the horse walking over you?

    what about breaking your neck?

what if the horse trips, you go over it's neck fall on your face and the horse falls on you?

hey even if those happen least you died with a helmet on!

  • It's funny how people al have something negative to say.. No matter what the situation. She needs a helmet...No she did not need a helmet. Then you get the, you should see the ICU and you will change your tune. I say go see the nursing home and see how glorious it is to survive into your 90's and no one visits you wear diapers and just hang out and wait to die.

SURGEON GENERALS WARNING....LIVING MAY CAUSE DEATH..

  • @chexreiner The little girl was amazing and my daughter is 3 and she barrel race without a helmit too. I trust my daughter on a horse, I know she's an amazing rider and can handle a horse on her own.

  • Who cares if she wears a helmet or not? Its a free friggin country. Accidents happen on or off horses with or without helmets. Supprising how many people think it's their concern to tell everyone what to do. If you wear one GOOD for you, everyone can make their own choices.

This is supposed to be about the kid and her horse. Watch it, don't worry about the family's personal choices.

  • now this kid is good!!!

  • make me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • omg i think i just died!! XD that was soo cute <3

  • not everyone can "make it through life" without helmets unfortunately, and don't contradict because it almost happened to me, WITH a helmet on.

  • @horseLove322

listen, those who do horse riding know the risks involved and chose to wear whatever gear they wish. I only use my helmet when riding young horses I have broken in or at competition.... otherwise I don't use it. I have one good helmet and use it for competitions, not everyone can afford more than one.

  • @horseLove322 Almost...lmao...yeah I almost win the lotto weekly.. Almost, awesome word

  • Very good horse!!!! Very cute lil cowgirl :D

  • @ridinropincowgirl i think that they were just worried if she was going to fall off. it could happen. calm down

  • what a good horse

  • They thought to give her a whip, but not a helmet?

  • this firl isn't cute......i have stubborn horses but she just lays that wip on the horses hind-quarters!!!!!!!!!!!that is the last thing from cute.if the isn't tall enough to kick it then she isn't tall enough to ride.

  • @sunndance1234567 screw you

  • @southsideking1993 make me

  • never worn a helmet never will been ridin since i was like 3... super cute vid

  • She's Anky van Grunsven 2...

  • love it,, reminds me of my daughter, helmets are for those that want them, not a mandatory,, same for motorcycles, let those who ride decide if they need them...

  • sow cute

  • aaaawwww 8D

  • Gotta love those baby sitter horses :)

  • AMAZINGGGG!!!!!

  • She is awesome...reminds me of my grand daughters

  • Sooooo cute and i'm not just talking about the girl=)

  • that horse is so pretty!!!

  • she should have a helmet one!! but so cute!

  • Comment removed

  • beyond cute!

  • So Stinking Cute!!! :P

  • i wish she had a helmet on thats a long fall...but still so sweet :3

  • Alright everyone about the helmet. She's fine? No? I always rode with out a helmet and still fine. (Knock on wood)

  • I have seen some little girls on big horses BEASTING EVERYONE. Just goes to show where determination can get cha ;)

  • AHHH! That looks just like me when i was little!!! I had a big white horse and i decked him out in pink!!! That makes me sad cuz he's dead! :(

  • Good horse

  • She's good, but even the greatest riders need a helmet.Sure you can go on without one,but you'll be sorry when and accident happens and you have to live your life in a wheelchair.

  • Yes, I know it isn't mandatory but she's like 4. She has so much life left ahead of her- I would hate for her to spend it in a wheel chair. And that's a full sized horse. Long way to fall for someone that small.

  • HAHA. She is better then me at the barrels!! at least she got the pattern right!! great little rider and amazing horse

  • RidinRopinCowgirl

Yes people can get through life without taking safety precautions but until the chilkd is of an age to make her own mind up and be insane and go on a gorse minus helmet then it is up to the parents.I grew up on horses and narrowly missed a very serious head injury 20 years ago and since then you wouldn't get e on a donkey wothout a helmet. She is a great wee rider and pute me in mind of me but get a helmet on her

  • @MegaMorve In your eyes maybe so, but this is not your decision to make, it is the parents. Because you choose one way does not mean we all must. You could trip and fall on the sidewalk and crack your head open and die right there. Helmets to not prevebts accidents, they lessen the chance of injury during if in the event. I am not against helmets, if you want to wear one good for you, but that doesn't imply that everyone should.

  • how can someone dislike this?

  • Comment removed

  • @RidinRopinCowgirl You can live without a helmet? Tell that to my western riding friend who now has a brain injury and was put into an induced coma for 10 days at 19 years old. -.-

  • @RidinRopinCowgirl seriously though. it only takes one fall. Look at Christopher Reeve, riding his whole life and it only took one fall to limit him to a chair..

  • @RidinRopinCowgirl helmets help that life expand, one fall of a horse without a helmet could be your last.

  • @RidinRopinCowgirl So do you think they would make her wear one before, or after shes in the coma caused by brain trauma? Better to be safe then sorry.

  • @RidinRopinCowgirl Right. I saw a kid in Pedi ICU. It was 3 days since his fall into a 4x4 post, and craniotomy--they took out all the scrambled, bleeding parts. One of his relatives THOUGHT they saw him move his finger. Get a job in an E.R. and you'll change your tune.

  • so young yet sooo good

  • Little saddle so cute!!

  • Nice tack :). Great ridinh

  • NO HELMET?????????????? ARE U CRAZY??????????

  • Wonderful calm horse and cute little girl.

  • that horse is amazing!!! so calm! glad to see the little one learning and having fun :)

  • Hah! Fun! ;D

  • @PersnicketyPony What does that have to do with the little girl riding a horse? If she has a horse to ride, why should she lease a pony?

I really didn't think much about your existence, I was only commenting on, well your comment.

  • thats going to be my daughter in in a year or two!

its horses like that, that are priceless. Have one for my kids that I also run barrels on. He loves the kids, comes running when my son calls him! Great riding girl

  • thats going to be my daughter in in a year or two!

  • @PersnicketyPony Why should she if she has a horse? Also, some people happen to become attached to the animal they ride, they're more than just something to jump on. A pony, a kid would outgrow.

She's doing fine on the large horse, who she will be able to ride no matter how tall she gets.

When you actually make the effort to bond with your horse, you don't want to EVER get to the point of not being able to ride them only because you've grown...

  • @PersnicketyPony She probably doesn't want to switch horses all the time. She wants a friend who will always be the same ... It's kind of what horses are for. And she'll grow fast.

  • @PersnicketyPony It's not the bit. It's that the kid is neck reining and the horse dosen't like that while barrel racing ... You're supposed to spread the rein into the barrel, but since she needs her whip because her legs don't work, she needs to neck rein. I don't like how the horse is uncomfortable either, but they're doing the best they can until she grows big enough.

  • Great Job! that was so cute an Amazing job!

  • Saartje05 she isn't pulling hard on the reins she is way to little to be that strong and stop criticizing it's not nice she is just a little girl and it costs less money if you get them a bigger horse when they are younger so they can grow into the horse instead of the parents constantly buying her a bigger horse and I don't care what you say

  • ist realy cute!

  • this wathe haze it ¨¨¨¨¨

  • that tiny western saddle is sooooooo adorable!

  • thats one odd looking horse. shes very oddly built, pretty but odd. i love the tiny saddle too!

  • @luvergirl43 Just a touch of a roman nose. Perfectly normal.

  • @iRideHorses123 oooooo ok yeah I see that now :)

  • i don't want people getting mad but there should be a law saying that little children should always wear a helmet. especially if their horse is that big. But great riding, i loved it

  • I think she is doing an amazing job for her age... I had horse to big for me and I tell u what my horse taught me more then any one ever could have... Good for her tell her to keep up the good work

  • love it

  • omg. why all the name calling.. its up to the parents discretion if she wears a helmet or not.

it didnt help christopher reeves at all did it!?

and as for kids riding that young.. all the kids i know that have horses were riding when they were that young if not younger.. they grew up with no damage to bones, including me.

people need to back off and watch the video for what it was intended.. FUN!

  • She's constantly pulling the reins too hard. The poor horse's mouth is being pulled open all the time. Kids like this should't be riding with bits like that and holding whips like that. Put them on a pony that fits them, not on a horse that's far too big for them.

  • If kids here would use whips like that they wouldn't come far. And it's not good for such young kids to ride anyway. It's very bad for their hip bones. That's why here kids can't get riding lessons before the age of six.

  • I wish she was wearing a helmet that young...

  • @SkatesNSaddles you cn not in western but i do know what you mean

  • @SkatesNSaddles u dnt need to wear a helmet i nvr wore a helmet and i was just fine but i have the scars to show were iv gotten thrown off on fences

  • o.o..that's...so..CUTE! :D

  • Im not nagging about the helmet thing (well kinda, but in a good way)

but she kinda should wear one because she's little, and you never know what can happen, just saying.

    sorry!

@faliz02 people arnt jelous that she doesnt wear a helmet, theyre just warning incase she cant take a "real fall" idiot.

  • @ElenaMay123 tht is right i was serisuley injured in a barrel accident

and if i would have had a helement it wouldnt have been tht bad when i was 7

  • @tharonperez some one doesn't know how to spell.....

no one cares what you people have to say! she is just riding for fun! she isnt even loping so get over it, people will still do what they want, your comment isn't helping anything!!!!!

  • Quit fussing about helmets. Just because some plp can take a real fall doesn't mean u have to fuss at them for being jealous cause u have to wear a helmet

  • @faliz02 I've seen the best riders who got almost killed because something happened and they didn't wear a helmet.

  • this discusts me

  • Well trained horse..... ~ Soooo Cute ~ GREAT job!! Put a big ole smile on my face. ( helmet heads .. they don't protect as much as they wished they did)

  • Helmet!!!!

  • Thats soo cute that remindes me of my 1st horse sham he looked exackely like that! I miss him :(

  • this is adorable but why no helmet? i understand that its prob the calmest horse ever but even the most well behaived horses have their days. the horse i ride is so hard to fall off because he usualy doesnt do anything stupid and hes wicked comfortable but he threw me one day. im just saying. its so adorable though

  • @SabillsHorses120 Agreed. My first and so far only fall, was on one of the most bombproof horses I know of. There was all sorts of crazy stuff going on that day.

I was cantering, she tripped and went down on both front knees, I landed head first in the dirt. Thanks to my helmet, my head was the least sore part of my body. It also saved me the sequels to My First Fall Off a Horse. Which could have been my first ambulance ride, my first concussion, my first head CT, etc.

  • OMG this is the cutest thing ive ever seen :D i love it when little girls ride huge horses

  • awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • no helmets are cute O.o

  • What an honest pony, its lovely to see.... ignore the haters , this is beautiful :) x

  • you gotta love these horses that just know the rider is younger and just take care of them i was no bigger than her on my own horse, Keytro and i could kick and whip all i wanted but he knew i wasnt ready for galloping yet and we were out on the RANGE no fences no nothing just follow the cows...just noticed that everyone was yelling about safety she has a good safety net under her! give some credit to the "babysitter" horses

  • More like barrel walking than racing!!!! But give the poor kid a helmet before she gets killed plzzz!!!

  • Gotta love Martha Joseys!

  • Now thats a real cowgirl she dont need no pony or helmet! she has a horses and cowgirls up ;)

  • The saddle is so small and cute

  • how old

  • Comment removed

  • If I had a child I would never ever let her do that without a helmet.

The horse is very nice and good, if I was a horse I would not understand what to do if I had that girl on my back...

  • @CalaCherie Most Western Riders Don't Wear Helemts

  • @WhatsDog I know that, I ride western self but I think it's different with a little child on a big horse.

  • her hair makes her look like shes bouncing in the saddle- just jokin! Im NOT critizing a little girl.

  • Awwwwwww & i dont wear a healmet & ive fell allot & im ok........... I dont like 'm but thats me

  • That was cute but she could have worn a helmet because she could have been killed without a helmet! That horse looked pissed as it is!

  • Why can't people just enjoy the video instead of complaing about how she rides or if she needs a helmet? Not everyone has to follow your personal choices and it's not like complaining about it will make it happen so quit your whinin.

  • awwwww this horse looks soo much like bud

  • people, people, please, she's just a baby! enough with the harsh comments! if there was anything cuter the world would just implode and you all know it! yes, i guess she could use a helmet, but other than that geez! she did amazing. so hush up!

  • she might be a little girl but you still dont have to teach little kids to use whips when riding a "pony or horse".

  • im sorry but when u teach a person to ride a horse you dont need to use a whip. When my grandpa starting teaching me how to ride i never had to use a whip. You dont need to use a whip when you start to learn how to ride. Ride a horse without having to use a whip.

  • Awh i know a horse named Dollar :) Except, he is actually a pony and black. So the complete opposite of this horse :P But cute video !!

  • dollar is so nice you good 4 your age

  • I feel sorry for the horse, that girl has to learn how to ride.

  • cute video..

but I really think you shouldn't teach a girl hit the horse to make it run.. teach her how to use her legs instead

  • @createdbynea

just saying. her legs hardle are past the saddle. the horse wouldnt be able to feel it.. and she wasnt even hitting it.. it was like she was laying the whip on the horse.. not hard.. she doesnt have the strength.. just saying.. im sure when she is older she will use her legs.

  • @tuyry1 Duhh Shes a little girl LEARN SOME THINGS AND O U NEED GLASSES!!!!

  • @BelieberGirly11 yeah u know what, i HAVE glasses, i think YOU need glasses though ;) just a thought. the whip was barely touching the horse, the horse isnt upset or anything, as the girl is so young, she doesnt have the strength to use her legs, and she trys to, but not every horse is super sensitive to leg.

  • @createdbynea- i agree people shouldnt be taught to use a whip

  • @dreher09 that's why we have small ponies for children.

  • @createdbynea . I don't care if its a "small pony" that girl is riding you do not have to teach them to use a whip. Be smart and teach kids and adults you don't have to use a whip when your riding a "horse". Thats just cruel to use a whip on a "horse" or "pony"

  • @dreher09

what i meant was that maybe she can use her legs on a small pony instead.

  • Hello? Helmet!?!

  • @kkschller, how old is she? She's gunna be one helluva barrel racer, she will have heaps of guts and no fear, she's doing great!!!

  • i understand that everyone has a different opinion on helmet safety, i was just raised a safety nut and i'm only on the side of the little girl's safety, i am not saying that the parents are horrible and don't care about their child. and the pony looks like a fantastic babysitter for the tiny tot.

  • @Unbridled396: I agree ^^

  • pink boots, pink shirt, pink saddle pad. how about a pink helmet? sorry if you think im being an ass

  • @Unbridled396 oh chill the horse is just trotting i bet you go on every barrel racing little kids vid and comment if they're not wearing a helmet i understand that they need one if they're goin fast but a lot of little kids don't even canter i would make my little girl wear one if i had one but you don't have to judge every one else shes cute and little and having a blast just pay attention to that :)

  • @Unbridled396 Listen. If the family didnt see a problem putting their daughter on a horse without a helmet, you shouldn't either.

  • what place did she get in?

  • This is the cutest thing ever!!! She CAN ride!!!!

  • Its in slow mo because that is how we received the video from Josey's

  • awwwww cute

  • why is it in slow mo?

  • That's adorable :)

  • She is pretty good, for her age!

    KEEP ON GOING GIRL!

  • This is cute! :P

  • luv it
