Our doberman still gave milk after having her puppies and we found an abandoned kitten and the little kitty nursed off the doberman, and the dobie would carry the kitten around in her mouth and lick it. And put her paw on it to stop it from rolling when she licked it. She LOVED that kitten. I wish I'd gotten on film but it was years ago.
Beagles as a whole like cats I've noticed. My beagle "brother" and tabby "brother" were always good friends. The dog even befriended a cat at the vets one day and they were total strangers! Oh, and beagles like to eat the kitties' food too!
It ain't gross if it's another animal. It would be gross if you nursed at a beagle's teats because it would be sick if a human, especially a grown person would willingly be nursed by a beagle.
This little Mama is amazing...we met at the Petco in Babylon on Saturday and I just wanted to check your vid out...thanks for telling us about it! Those kittens are adorable and they are very fortunate to have such a devoted mom...

This reminds me when i was younder at my grandparent's home.
They used to have a female rottweiler who was a sweethear and foru cats.
When my grandma was telling her "Kiss the cat" she was coming next to him and give him a big lick on the face. ^-^
I guess that those who say that friendship is impossible between a cat and a dog should think twice about it ^^

It was a false pregnancy. She didn't have any. She has kittens nursing from her because she was producing milk.
