@TheOliist I agree! Facts are that the history of the Northern Europeans/Ancient Aryans civilizations always get bogged down into some ignorant discussions. There was 2 distinct branches of the ancient Europeans. Those in the European regions and then those in the Eastern regions. Through linguistics studies (which is how historians tract ancient migrations) it has been seen that there were 2 distinct branches. Read Viktor Rydborg's "Teutonic Mythology", from the 1880's as a good starting point.

I dunno if this is possible to prove or not, but my personal philosophy is that, besides advancements in scientific knowledge and technology, and more refined views of ethics (again due to more knowledge) there isn't much different under the sun. I.e., we can understand more of ancient societies and peoples (sans our modern knowledge and understandings) than we think. Just imagine how'd you be, with your tools and knowledge taken away...and voila.
