I'm amazed at all the criticism out there - this is a child with talent whom has obviously worked hard to accomplish much at a young age - very nicely done! Keep working!!!
oh my goodness that little boy is so cute. and its amazing that hes playing so well for his age. I just finished this piece and I'm in 8th grade. not 6! That's amazing.
As a little Suzuki student he is definitely advanced. My daughter was playing the Seitz concertos in kindergarten as well and sounded the same. What is talent anyway? Yes, there is some innate musical ability but really it is hard work that gets results. The Asians have the right idea. Work hard and you will succeed. American parents won't push their children. If they balk at practice they do not have to do it. My children HAD to practice 365 days a year just like they HAD to go to school.
You did a great job in such a challenging work. Think of the most difficult passage to set the tempo. Try to keep the same tempo throughout the movement even when you are very busy.
good for such a young age. definatley a prodigy. it sounds a bit scratchy. take it slow, try not to rush. clean up some of those notes and you'll have it. i also think you should start learning vibrato and good intonation.
Very well done - thumbs up!

SingSongProductions 3 years ago
