I loved Matt...he was such a great role model. He had so much planned for our city. I just hope that we can keep the dream alive. He would definetly be very happy if we could achive better things for Fairfield. OMG I'm crying! But anyway, Matt will be missed but will be with us forever. R.I.P Matty G!!
I am a student at RHS. Matt was truly an amazing person i knew him outside of his job. Matt we are going to keep the dream alive. Fairfield is already doing so many things that you wanted to do. You made fairfield a better place and even though you are gone, you are still making a difference. We love you Matt. *KEEP THE DREAM ALIVE*

IM just glad tht they caugh the killers but HE WAS AMAZING he came 2 my school 2 help out cuz he went there he was just 2 AMAZING 4 words,i wish he was stilll here but he was the most amazing council man.
He was a great guy.. I'm not going to be like some people and act like I've known him my whole life. When I met him in Green Valley Middle School, he was just so incredibly happy.. Like, he would tell us of his plans. To get us skaters out of trouble by building more parks, to stop gang violence.. He's one of those politicians that seemed they WILL do what they say they're going to do..
Matt was a tremendous leader and he did so much in a very short period of time. His legacy impacted our ever changing community in a way in which we should NOW be a REAL community and help each other. Let's all create an immortal legacy to be proud of for countless generations.

i didnt know matt garcia but i heard he was a great council memeber if i lived in fairfield and he ran for mayor i woulda vote for him.its so sad he had to die at a young age at 22 years old matt will be missed
