  • when did chuck die and how?

  • @1shadowofdarkness1 SEARCH ON google :) ... read...

  • @1shadowofdarkness1 Brain cancer, and yeah it sucks finding out that he's dead when all that you wish is just going on a Death concert ;(

  • awesome band, chuck is pure genius. ive been forcing my band to listen to death and we have been writing much better songs because of it. i just know chuck is shredding away somewhere in the afterlife.may his music be a source of inspiration for generations to come

  • Awesome to hear! =D

I tried starting a death metal band with a group of kids (who claimed to be huge death metal fans), and they didn't even know who Death was! I showed them Death and they just thought it was "whatever" -_-

but yeah... I agree with you

    Chuck is pure genius

    =]

  • @PraiseofDeath92 did they mention Bring Me The Horizon, then? :P

  • @PraiseofDeath92 I cant imagine anyone being a Death Metal fan...and not be a fan of Death...the God father of Death Metal. if it wasnt for Death , there wouldnt be a Rich Genre like Death metal now. Thrash and Speed got all the speed...Death added technique and Progression...

I wish he could just come back and...at least give us one last show

  • Right on, keep the metal faith alive. this is some of the greatest music ever, ur band needs 2 become familiar wit it and feed off it . Which will only making u dudes better. Beast of Luck from the Goblin Shark

  • I like Chuck's muscles :D lol was he bodybuilding or did the guitar give him this?

    no offense hehe

  • gene holgan is a great drummer, why do you say that he sucks?

  • chuck composed very hard drumm rythms ... so ... conclusion would be ...

every drummer that Death had, had to be one hell of a drummer to play these song' which are hard as hell :D

  • Chuck Ruled

  • Gene Hoglan is the shit

  • Oh...and Chuck is God

  • Love his way of holding that guitar

  • the way he holds his pick is sick

  • When was this concert?

  • "In Death you shall live forever." Beautiful line. :)

  • When ya consider that chuck was born in 1967 and how young he was when he wrote and recorded this stuff it just goes to show how good he was The album human which was recorded over 20 yrs ago when chuck was just 21 shows how amazing he was To be taken from us at such a young age leaves u wondering how much great songwriting and music he had left for us.The day he died is & will be the biggest loss to the death metal genre. RIP chuck U will never be forgotten. In Death you shall live forever \m/

View my comedy people, Cracka Don is out.

  • Wow, I can't help but move to this when I watch it. I don't care what anyone says, or what their opinion is, the fact is that Death are the greatest metal band that has ever and probably will ever exist. Anyone whos opinion counters that is a/an (insert intelligence-crippling insult here). =P

  • i like symbolic, zero tollerance, all scream bloody gore sound of P hmmm i think i like it all lol

  • fucking owns everything!! awesome song!

  • death = father

  • I dont have a favourate Death song, I just think that every song from Human all the way to Sound of perseverance is awsome because one day you get into one death song or album then the next day or week later you find yourself really getting into another Death song or album. I think Death overall is just good quality music & always will be.

  • yeah, cuz there is no such thing as a bad Death album

  • That was a fucking great album!

  • what the fuck are you talking about? spiritual healing featured james murphy beside chuck!!! are you out of your cotton picking mind???

  • I actually like it a bit more now... Killing spree and the title track are good, but i don't think its much next to symbolic/iVP

  • Fuck spiritual healing!

    DEATH!

  • @jimilufnin now now u failed to mention the best desth album of them all spiritual healing.that cd fuckin rocked.i remember listening to it over and over.in my younger days used to do alot of acid and next to the old classic pink floyd i always had to give spiritual a spin or two.

  • my favourite death song is crystal mountain

  • What do you think is their best song? i think it's within the mind

  • Death rulez

  • coolest 14 year old ever?

  • you should get into control denied. :P

  • im14 and im hell into death its way better than all that trivium and bullet for my valentine crap

  • i was 14 too when I started listening to death, now I play some of their songs in guitar Ill always say "thank you" to the few people that brought me into metal, long life to Death, RIP Chuck

  • Death is a legend. Death is a reference. Symbolic is probably the best metal album i've ever heard. Symbolic, Empty Words, Crystal Mountain. I mean ... these songs are a lesson. Like I said in a comment on another video : I might be an electro music composer, i still got goose pumps when i listen to Death. I'm a drummer too, and Gene Hoglan was a god.

Death will never die (i love play on words :) )

  • The cool thing about Chuck is that he was kind of a lone wolf: he sat in his garage figuring out scales, modes and lots of crazy shit - almost like reinventing it. He had no teachers, so he learnt everything by ear...

God bless you, Chuck, you'll never die!

  • Symbolic is one of the best metal albums EVER. It is fucking amazing

  • fuck yea, man.. Symbolic and the sound of perseverance are my 2 favorite album from Death.. chuck was an amazing writer.

  • This band will always be a breath of fresh air to me!

  • Breath of fresh air? More like a death of fresh air... Heeehehehehehe satan im funny.

RIP Chuck, I'll listen to Death until the very day I die.

  • As will I. Rest in peace Chuck, metal brother.

  • When i hear the art of Chuck Schuldiner my stomach gets fired! He had done things that no usual man can do!He was generous and very friendly to other people! Some things you want to see, are leaving this fucking world!(I wanted to see Chuck)He was something extraordinary, his band members, too, were of this kind of metal, yes! When i see something from death I am glad that i comment to these!Peace to you Chuck wherever you are now!I said this before and i say it again!

  • chuck was a great man, he was all for anti violence and all,you can tell he is shy because of the way he acts on stage he doesnt headbang or nothin, but dont get me wrong he is a hell of a guitarist, and i would have killed to met him,R.I.P, chuck isint dead HE IS DEATH!!!

  • I agree. He was a really musician, just concerned to play perfect the guitar like a concertist does.

  • same thing as I said on Spirit Crusher, trust me..he headbangs. Check out early Death.

    Specifically, Lack of comprehension.

amazing song, both Symbolic and Lack of Comprehension.

  • R.I.P. Chuck ; Chuck was one of the best,if he wasn't the best.Old Skool death metal is the best.

  • are marshalls amps really that great. or is it just good for live music?

  • depends what one you get... personally I LOVE Marshall!

  • marshals are great amps, but so are crate and fender. those are my top 3

  • Yeah, Rodney's the man! He released so many awesome live videos through Mind Melt Video back in the day.

  • R.I.P. Chuck

His music will live on forever!

  • "I close my eyes and sink within myself, releave the gift of precious memories, in need of a fix called innocence.... Things that may not seem important now, but maybe tomorrow" RIP Chuck

  • chuck isn't dead, chuck IS death

  • good one

  • died 4 uor sins? gimme a break

  • lol

  • He was like Beethoven a music genius

  • how could you ever say something so heartless and cold? Chuck Schuldiner died for our sins, have some respect.

  • XfuckinD

  • Yeah.

But you can die too, and you would not have given to the world any emotion.

  • truthiness

  • Holy shit, we lost him...but he was awesome...Death is one of the few bands that I'v nothin to complain...it's all great...

    Chuck, R.I.P.!

  • i remember purple micro & this band....good times

  • man human death u fucking put alot of deaths songs on here thx man

  • RIP Chuck, my favorite guitarist, and a generally awesome person

  • Yeah, I hear he was the type you could just approach. Dime too.

  • on wikipedia it says he died from pneomia(no fucking clue how to spell) after being treated for his tumor...

besides he was mainly in control denied when he had his tumor so it wouldnt have mattered if he could still scream...

  • id just like to ask, because i havent heard much of this band but imstarting to like what ive heard from them :D. Anyway id just like to ask why has his singing style changed because i saw lack of comprehension and now this. I was just asking if there was a reason for this.

  • His singing isnt the only thing that changed. His style of playing changes in every album.Listen to "Scream Bloody Gore" and "Leprosy". They have that "death" vocals. While "Spiritual Healing" has this lower growl."Individual Thought Patterns" has this more medium-ish growl, but it very melodic with the style they play in that album."Symbolic" is more face paced,so there singing has to at least match there playing. And "The Sound of Perserverance" is pretty much there last album with that "voice".

  • Uhm, does that mean he should have died? Idiot... :S And i am sure Chuck would find a way to find a way to play even if he had both his hands cut.

  • tHE PHILOSPHER

    CHuCK SCHULDINER

  • :*( great work chuck...

  • R.I.P. Chuck.

  • the best ever

  • Had this band bin now... they are fkin multi millionaires... they are too early to show up on death metal scene... Chuck RIP... shit happens to veterans... guys!!! arent you feelin a lil shadow left for this band in the name of OPETH... coz tuning sounds simlr..

  • he died bc he didnt have 70 lousy fucken thousand dollars....how stupid...bands got 2gether and played a one/couple of show/s to come up with money to keep him and they failed? how stupid..couldnt they loan him the FUCKIN MONEY AND THEN HE PAYS THEM BACK? THEY ARE GREEDY...HE IS GONE FOREVER FOR A LOUSY SUM OF MONEY. FUCK THAT STUPID ASS MOTHERFUCKEN SHIT..

CHUCK R.I.P.! WE FUCKEN LOVE YOU...

    FROM LOST ANGELES CALI!

  • you know what's even worse??? the fucking american health care system!!! fucking greedy republicans!!
