I'm not biased at all. Tau aren't even my first army of choice. They're overpowered, just like the Eldar. I'm sorry that you've never seen a competitive match-up. To see a few, I highly recommend Vaul's VRI. A very good tournament, with quality players. I'm sure you'll learn a lot. I know I did.

Tau are the complete polar opposite of overpowered. Necrons are probably the most likely to win, just because of the Necron Lord being able to take so much punishment for a Primary Comm. Ive been playing Chaos ever since the realease of DoW, and i still have trouble dealing with Necrons most of the time. I've beat plenty of people with Tau, but i still lose to Necrons as Tau every time

Yeah, right, what are u smokin' Cryxboy? The tau got SS which means they have the best capping in the game, and they are easily overpowered if you just manage to see their strengths and use them. It's true they will lose to Crons, but everyone loses to those bastards in DC. in SS it's more balanced.

If you talk about caps as in cappers, it's the Stealth Suits. Infiltrated, jetpack-equipped units with no real firepower at all. Excellent cappers, the best of the best, and can be upgraded in T2 to a lethal, infiltrated unit sporting 3 fusion blasters, great anti tank guns. In addition they can get a stronger squad leader with his own fusion blaster and tank jamming EMP nades. They ooze epic win.

Just check the wiki. The numbers are there. You say that the Knarloc cannot beat the Bloodthirster. Armies weren't in this video, so bringing them up is null and void. This is one on one, and the numbers (not to mention the video) state that a Kauyon Knarloc can defeat the Bloodthirster. Slim margin, but it can do it. Numbers are in the wiki. The math isn't hard.

Knarloc: 8,000 (10,800 with Improved Metallurgy)

Bloodthirster damage (to Daemon High): 175.8

Knarloc Damage (to Daemon High): 245

With the Kauyon path, the Knarloc has enough HP, and does enough damage, to outlast the Thirster by four seconds.

Kauyon Tau can handle Chaos. Tau are the best army in the game, just above the Eldar. Chaos doesn't match up against either of them, except by extreme luck or gross player error. Watch any competitive game and see that for yourself.

Im sorry, but a beast of burden that looks like a T-Rex should not win against against the most powerful greater deamon that Khorne(the god of violence/blood-shed/war) has to offer. Because in dark crusade (and Soulstorm) the Daemon (Demon) Prince is summoned with Chaos Lord, so people summon Daemon Prince with Chaos Lord (since he can no longer be possesed by Bloodthirster) then summon the Bloodthirster with sorcerer.

I see your point, I guess people only think of using the first commander they can get to be a bloodthirster, for most people I belive they stay in their base and fully construct it then make an army, but along the way they do create the commanders, not the infantry, so basicly before they realize they can use an aspiring champion, they use the sorcerer, and I don't even know if chaos can still summon bloodthirster through a champion, never tried it yet in Dark Crusade or Soulstorm.

Well the Blood thirster is more of a tank, seeing how he has a stable amount of take damage and damage power.Like everything else in Tau, its basically speed and attack strength(mostly ranged though). Defense is just how ranged you are to the enemy.Guess if GK had more Hp enough to withstand armies of say space marines for a while and less attack then the Tau would have one badass tank for them to distract enemies with.Too badass I think.

From what I've seen, the knarloc will beat pretty much everything in 1 on 1, but in most other cases, the knarloc will lose. It has the lowest health, and the lowest damage(?!) and it will get cut down by mass fire quicker than anything else.
