A great sub from JBL made in USA at a good price. 500W AES but no problem, 2kw are possible !

people prefer BOSE but thats not for DJ, i tell them that

BOSE may sound a bit more clear, but its more for a home stereo, but still for a home stereo i choose JBL still!

@DJLOUIEMIX actually i beleive these are better than most cerwin vega subs. jbl's are more of a solid thump and vegas are alot looser in my opinion

@MRFUNKY323 These are in a bandpass box, so they're meant for a very tight frequency range. If you're doing one particular type of music, these are good. If not, then you may want to stick with a folded horn.

oh yeah bro, If you're only going to get 1 big sub you should get like an 18'' one man , and bridge it , you will hear the difference you wont have to crank up the volume really loud anymore. You will want to use it for all of your gigs.

nice sub, if it doesn't fit in the car just tie a rope and drag it behind. It's proven effective but you may want to put a large slice of cardboard under it so it doesn't scrape the actual sub

I have jbl eons g2s my partner has 4 mackie 1801z subs and they have been doing good he just got a pair 6 months ago. Mackie is having lots of problems in there srm series i know that for a fact

mackie is a premuim brand it does come with a 5 year warranty and really good in my budget. and i wish jbl had a 800 watt cont. pwrd sub i would of took it in a heart beat.
