@f1f1s HAHA that's exactly what I was thinking as well! :D Hamelin usually sticks to the sheet music but in this case he seems to have gone a little mad. :/

@cowzilla8 I agree!My guess is that he was just trying to be as weird as he could with that little 4 note motif(B-A-C-H/Bfl)and he wasnt concerned with the "flow" of the music as a composer jnormally would be.Yes,this is a wild piece,with lots of great pianism in it---but theres very little structure to it at all.(And yes I know a "Fantasia" doesnt need to have the same type of structure as a sonata or fugue,but even for a fantasia this doesnt seem to have much rhyme or reason/direction to it)

@mrbrianmccarthy lol i've been listening to this and wondering, what on earth does this have to do with Bach? but now I know that BACH is an acronym for the letter names of the notes.

Hamelin is thoroughly inside this music, and has more than enough technique for this great work, rarely heard for some strange reason
