The state has no money, Public sector makes more then private with better benefits, Conflict of interest between government and the unions, unions KNOWN to harass very harshly and even cause death and extreme damage to property

lol even with bussing in people from all over you could only get 5000 people, that was the high number. There are 5 times that protesting the governer's bill to take away collective bargaining rights. They aren't just whining that their taxes are too high they have a real reason for protesting. (btw obama lowered taxes for everyone but the top earning 2 percent so think about who's manipulatin you)

5,000 or 10,000 or 50,000 citizens of WI can join the Tea Party. BUT a majority of us are not stupid enough to fall for this crap. 95% of americans got a tax break and a recent poll showed that a majority of tea party members did not know this. The facts our we have spoken with our votes and a LARGE majority voted for the better canidate (Obama). Furthermore, WI will continue to have a democratic governor & state legislature because most WI citizens care more about others than about themselves.

In all honesty larissan, I think the 5 thousand number was conservative and was probably more like 7 thousand. In any regard the turnout was impressive. I'm not sure how many were actually residents of Madison. I think many of the participants hailed from the southern half of Wisconsin.
