  • Whats the point of combos that long if damage barely increases? Id rather stick with short combos that offer greater damage. The idea is to eliminate the opponent isn't it?

    It's more difficult to land the ultra itself than it is to land one of the normals that allow you to combo.

  • @0Blueninja0 Yeah, that's called damage scaling bro. It's in the game so it doesn't become too easy for people to defeat their opponents with large combos; it balances the game that way.

  • @CarnEvil215 training mode always help just set the dummy to auto block he will block when u miss any links so you know ur timing is off

    why does the raging demon deal less damage in a combo and more damage by itself???

  • If I remember correctly, once you get over a certain number of hits in a combo the amount of damage that an ultra or super does is reduced by a percentage. I'm not sure what the exact number is or what the percentage is. I just know that with Zangief for example its anything over 15 hit combo reduces the damage an Ultra Does. I'm sure someone else can give you some accurate numbers, but that's the just of it.

  • @StarSlay3r it's called damage scaling. it's so people can't land incredible combos in a match that just continues to drain the same amount of health each hit. The more hits in the combo the damage goes down as well as the lower health you have. If you have a quarter of your health left every hit your opponent makes on you will be less damaging then if you were at full bar.

  • That's because of damage scaling mechanics. When you're far into a combo, your hits deal less and less damage as they would originally, so it's preferrable to unleash your hard-hitting moves earlier in a combo.

    I think Capcom made it this way for balancing purposes, so that less experienced players have a chance for a comeback, too.

  • how do u make raging demon during Overhead Chop? As I know raging demon cant be combo/S-cancel without doing a crumpling Focus Attack (only in SF33).

  • You can cancel normals into demon, for example overhead chop, sweep, crouching mk, hard kick. you just buffer the ultra in quickly as soon as you've started the normal.

  • can u theoretically do like 5 loops on geif, FADC into another 5 loops FADC into another 5 loops then demon? (prolly woulda gained the extra bar by then but if not then cancel the third set of 5 loops and do the demon then, it should be like 15 hits every 5 loops + the jab hadou FADC make it 18, 18x2 = 36 + 27 from demon + 1 from initial start up FADC? LMAO ionno if that actually works but that would be like 64 hits?
