Really think about it: the Jedi making a final stand against the Sith-led Stormtrooper armies like the 300 did. Instead of fighting robots and machines of the silly Trade Federation, they could have literally been fighting clone armies which could have played into the post-9/11 fears like the new BSG does, make Padme a Jedi instead of a useless queen -- making her love with Anakin all the more dangerous, and get James Franco to play Anakin. Just to name a few.

Certain scenes with Jar-Jar, young Anakin and anyhting other than Jedi kicking butt might leave a sour taste in some of our mouths, but I gave it a five because your timing and presentation were FLAWLESS... well, mybe excepting the Obi-Wan/Darth Maul scene, some of the synch was off (as pointed out earlier).

I also like that you show that, regardless of what us Jar-Jar haters think, he DID help play a critical role in the battle... as so did many other 'lesser' characters. Excellent Vision...

Actuall, i believe he said that just after Daxos told him that the Immortals were encircling them, so the only options were fight and die, surrender or retreat. As as Leonidas said a couple of times, Spartans dont retreat ir surrender, and giving their lives to slow the advance of the Persian horde would be an honorable death, which is what every Spartan wishes for.
