I remember the episode of Murphy Brown where he sang this at her son's first birthday. A decade after that show originally aired, I saw it again... this time AS a parent. i started bawling. I still do when I hear it.
My 4 year old had her moving up ceremony from Pre-K yesterday and this is the song they all sang as they walked into the auditorium. I got so choked up and couldn't stop crying, it's beautiful.

My children's elementary school choir just used this song on 12/19/08 in a farewell to their principal of 25 years. The entire school was in tears. Beautiful!
Hello..One of my best friends was looking for a song to dance with to her mom to when she was getting married. I lost my mother in Feb. of 2009 at the age of 82. This is a beautiful song and this video makes you think of your parents. Very sad.
