horrible bit of hardware! i had mine for a week before it just completly stopped working, a mate had the exact same prob, even after paying, reinstalling, adjusting the settings and such like, complete waste of money imo.

its pretty good mine sometimes goes up to 400kb a second with a 7.2mb connection and i play xbox live without one bit of lag at all.

Ahh cool! You got the latest EEE! Congrats! I use the E169G modem in my Dovado UMR router. It doesn't have a external antenna or microSD slot like yours though. However, I think it's time to upgrade to a new EEE!

The Huawei E169 is a "composite device" that requires an extra step to recognize in Xandros. Google "dale lane e169" for the instructions.

It should work with Xandros.. just google it..

I tried but the instructions i found were too cryptic for windows user...
