As soon as I realized you were going to make the axeman you medic I said to myself that it would bit you in the ass.

That being said im sure I'd make alot worse than you on that map/diff. tough.

You should promote your units before healing as promotion gives some healing

you had forester3 warrior (+15% healing rate)  to attache a general, making him a better healer i think

and u always lose axehealer if it is the only axe in the stack

Whipping is an efficiency question, not a "can i make enough units" question. Grass hill mines beat slavery always. Without a granary whipping is *usually* bad. With a granary, whips beat plains hills until pop 6, where they even out.

Your best justification of delaying slavery here is that you didn't have any cities that would benefit enough to merit the anarchy + mild event risk, as it appears you have enough mines.

Use trade routes sooner..and IMO hit china sooner :).
