  • Nice

  • I didn't know there were '70 Charger 500's. Is that what the stripe on the grill means? I know that the '69 Charger 500's had had a flush rear window and a Coronet grille (two headlights always out).

  • Dude, look how many Charger 500 videos are on the right of this page. The 1970 Charger 500 did not have the flush window or Coronet grille. C'mon Man! You probably figured this out yourself if you kept looking at videos after this one.

  • @RUMBLEINN you get yourself a charger 500 but you can't get a decent camera...what happen in this world?

  • The Charger 500 was really rare back in the day. How did you get one to look like this? You must have incredible luck my friend.

  • This car was stored for 13 years prior to me finding it for sale. It was super clean so I had alot to start with. I have since repainted the body.

    Thanks for the comments.

  • such a beautiful car take care of it

  • keep it runing. envi you

  • is the color burnt orange?

  • Actually, The original color was T6 Brown, just slightly brighter then this color. The color in the video is Cocoa Brown. I am nearly down with preparing it for a re-paint now and that color will be a 1980 Nissan Irridescent Metallic Brown. Thanks for watching my vids. Soon I will be posting the strip and re-paint video.

  • great car! were you filming this with your weener? car is great tho.

  • great vid

energetic fun smart and loves this video Ik

  • she's beautiful!

  • LOVE the hideaway headlights

  • This is so awesome! My dad had a Charger back in the 70's. His brother (my uncle) eventually got a hold of it and sold it. I wish he didn't lol.

  • Muscle Car Review magazine (June 2008) has a feature of a 1970 Charger 500-same color. That one has a black vinyl top and black interior though.

    Nice cars....

  • I remember 40 cent a gallon

  • the 70 charger is a union of 68 and 69 charger, nice, but the 69 charger is the best

  • totally agree with u '68 and '69 are the best models made...

  • i agree to the 69 is the best

  • Ya, i have a 500 too, they made the 500 model for nascar, they had to make at least 500 of them to be an eligable car in Nascar. Check out my slideshow, look up 1970 dodge charger slideshow.

  • Pimp on - that's nice.

  • Awsome Car! We are doing a 70 500 as well(father son project)# Chargers on the ranch!All push 450 hp plus !

  • I'd love to see some pics or videos of your Mopars.

  • i wanted to know my uncle had a 1970 charger and he looked up his serial number in a book, and it said 'SPECIAL MOTOR' what was in there???????????? HELP PLEASE

  • I have never heard of that. The V-I-N number should lead you to exactly what motor was in his specific car. What was the number, I'll look it up in my Chilton's.

  • wow my uncle will have to find it.. ill write back

  • charger 500? is that bigger than 440? (7.2 ltr) so that makes it an 7.8 or 8 litre engine? please let me know, awesome car by the way... look after it!

  • 500 is a designation of te trim package. This car came with a 318 which I built up with 340 top end parts.

  • "charger 500" is the model number and has nothing to do with the motor. NASCAR required that only production cars could race so they had to make at least 500 of a model. Like they only made 500 of the Superbird

  • It was the number of Daytona Chargers that was about 502. Many more 'birds were made. There were 1,084 440-4bbl Superbirds and I don't know how many more were hemis or six-packs. So yeah.

  • Ok... that sounds right to me as I've seen a lot more Superbirds than Charger 500's. Someone above mentioned a 318 in a Superbird. To my recollection the smallest motor you could get in one of these was a 440 with the hemi being the other option (I think the 440 could be had with a 6-pack too). Thanks for your good info.

  • the 500 is the model # not the motor size. Mopar never made a 500cu in engine back in the 70s the biggest was the 440. the closest engine that mopar made to a 500 cu in was the v10's in the vipers because their a 8.2L or an 8.3L

  • I put some new videos up this weekend. Enjoy!

  • one of the best lookin chargers i have seen on the internet! and the vid quality sucked...but i still saw the best lookin car on the internet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • OK, OK, I'm working on it! I promise the rest of my videos will be much better.

  • not very old footage cause look at the jeep at 0:41. this must have been filmed in the last 10 years

  • Uhhh...the video says October 2001. This was my first try at transferring footage. I am taking new footage in the next week or so, so check back later or subscribe.

  • how old is the footage?

  • Sounds great and looks even better.

  • Nice sounding car. How much hp is it pushing?

  • Great looking car. I hope you keep it forever!
