And bobby, having an alcohlic and abusive to his mother type of example for a dad influenced his behavior. Just found it cool that's all.

I get why Stacy doesn't see herself in her mom cause it's more subtle, but how can Bobby hurt his gf when he hates his dad for beating his mom. I mean, I'd see it if Bobby thought what his dad did was normal, but he thinks that his mom should've left.
And whats up with the Eric Balfour character? He didn't even flinch when he heard Stacy slapped. That guy is playing a zombie.

I love ho this movie demonstrates parents seting examples for kids. Like how her mom sets the example of the emotionally abusive bf. It's like that's the reason why the daughter's in an abusive relationship and the mom breaking up with that Ron guy set up the daughter with a new example to follow, one with self-esteem. And bobby, having an alcohlic and abusive to his mother type of example for a dad influenced his behavior. Just found it cool that's all.

@kappleviolet I'm amazed by how many people feel the same way. You think stupidity/bad choices really warrents injury and/or death? Really?? Abused women stay and die. Timothy Treadwell filmed grizzlies up-close until he was eaten. Good people smoke themselves to death. All stupid choices. Some may say stupid people. But do their bad choices make them so guilty as to deserve //that// much suffering? I don't think so. A girl would have to be pretty evil to deserve this, me thinks.

@onegoalhawksfan19, yes, he is. lol He's so convincing that he becomes real to you and your almost afraid of him for just playing a part but that's what he's supposed to be doing. That's a true actor. I hated his character in this movie but I got a hole new respect for him after he did this part. :0

I think Nikki knew that Bobby had some major issues and that Stacey should end things with him but I don't think she knew that he was actually capable of killing Stacy because if she did, she seems like the type of friend that would use physical force to keep Stacey with her and her friends and away from Bobby. :0
