What? Injun? Did you just crawl out of Tom Sawyer or some bad western? This song was really big before and around the time of the Tianenman Square massacre. This is a variation on the original which I like better, but I like this version also.
Oh yeah, and don't forget that China for various significant reasons is probably a bit behind as far as rock & roll evolution. Listen to our rock from its early stages - rather primitive.

taoransheng 1 year ago
SelfDefenseLog 1 year ago

I just listened to Cui Jian live at Stanford! He was AMAZING! He even did 4 extra songs because the crowd wouldn't leave lol.
Shame on that ProudofPRC idiot down there. One of Cui Jian's song's today was "tolerate." You should learn what that means.
pal2011 3 years ago
you should have stayed for the 3rd encore. he did another song after 1/2 the audience left.
amidaladown 3 years ago
I stayed for it - note 4 extra songs I said.
Hey so youu just came back from Dink too? :P

haha honestly even tho I like his songs
I feel its a disgrace for us to enjoy his music considering his ethnically Korea and Han chinese.
The writer of over 360 Revolutionary Music was also ethnic Korean. Why the fuck do Chinese have to corporate with these stupid koreans?
ProudofPRC 4 years ago
Just because they're Korean doesn't mean they're stupid. You need to grow up and stop pretending to be the center of the universe.

Having seen Cui Jian live in Xiamen in 1991 when I was stugying there at Xiada, seeing him in the years between, surprised to find him on youtube.
Just reminds me of "old" times, still run him every year or so in Shanghai.
