well i like all of korn's cd's every cd they did somethng different. the first was them starting out without any special studio stuff just korn than life is peachy was their heavier album follow the leader was kind of technical and experimental issues was their sadder cd untouchables makes me feel like i'm in space take a look in the mirror was them doing everything themselves see you on the other side was without head untitled without david and korn 3 was getting back to their roots. all good.

It got allmost the same rage as Jonathan had in 1993, Ray Luzier is doing a awsome job taking over David Silverias place as drummer, Fieldy and Munky got the old raw sound back in their axes and the lyrics tells good stories as their old hits.

Could you please tell me what the differnece might be except that they have new issues?

k at first, i don t think that its a bad album but to compare it with their master piece ( self titled) doesnt work, at first k the drummer is really great but the first album has much more creative beats , also the riffs are far more original and jonathan uses more different technics , on the new album are nearlly no growls, no scatting and no wispering . and at the end , head and munky wrote perfekt riffs together, they where like one person playing two guitars.

Ofc there are alot of differences. David and Ray have different styles of drumming and with head out of the band they cant webb the guitarrs... And Jonathan is getting older, his throat aint working out the same way as 17 years ago. But u proly knew all this, its common sence. Anyways what i meen with my commentary is that the new albums aint bad at all and they CAN be compared to the first album (even tho it aint as good).

Naw man, See You On The Other Side was the start of the downfall and the album released in 07 was the downfall. I bought it listened to it once and never touched it again. Anyone hear the new album sample posted on the official korn website? If the background track indicates anything like the new album it sounds like it has a Follow the Leader sound or a SYOTOS sound to it. Not exactly old school but other tracks may hopefully be different. Still either way its better than anything off Untitled.
