when you use SAII. your oponent will be less agressive when ur meter is full. so you use the EX meter strageticly to bait ur opponent into fighing you. Then with a dragon punch your meter is full you then must chain in the super unexpectly as soon as it gets full.
Yeah i know, RX finally falls to a persistent Ruu Ryu. It shows if you keep pressing on regardless of so many should tackles and reflectors, you can still get back on top.
ryu and urien have nothing to do with each other storyline wise, but for some reason i always thought it'd be cool if these guys fought (not in game, storyline, manga, or animewise)
If Ryu wasnt so damn cool and my favorite character, I would be training with somebody else which needs higher skills. Ive mained as Ryu ever since the original street fighter came out. Ryu is so inspirational lol.
ruu is a great ryu. he put up a better fight than i thought he would, awesome. i'm tired of people saying noob this, noob that depending on who you use. yes, some characters are easier to pick up and use than others. actually being at the caliber of these tournament players is another story.
yes i agree. i actually feel great people respect Ryu players so much although Yun players do indeed need more skills and training to execute properly.
I agree as well. I mean...hell Ken and Chun are probably are just as "noob"-like as people say ryu is...and look where they are on the tier lists...complication doesn't necessarily mean the best...
I agree with you on that if what you mean is that Ryu is newbie friendly. Like you just started playing street fighter and want to get into it, I would recommend using Ryu until you learn the game's physics.
Yeah I find he has longer poke strings which cancel into his SA. Also his SA fills QUICK, 3 stocks and his kicks(hard and medium) have alot more range than Ryu's. Kens shoryukens are also harder to parry concidering theres more hits too.
the only reason why RX loss is because when you look at 2:28, he knew Ruu was going to overhead so instead of just parrying it, he went for a red parry which cost him.
Ruu and Namijin are my fav Ryu players...parrying corner unblockable, is not hard, just needs the exact timing...as u can see u just need to parry once!
people prefer Ken over Ryu, i guess because he is faster and offers a variaty of combos and easier links.
u'r a fucking idiot, you can't always do that, he was soo lucky that aegis was very deep, it's not like he knew he was gonna get out of it with just one parry.
Lucky that the aegis was deep? LOL, you sir do not know anything about 3s, the point of creating the unblockable scenario is to get the aegis as much "into" the opponent as possible to keep him in a blocked position. If it were to be shallow, the point is defeated by granting breathing space. Btw ejay, great upload.
lol to ironreda... i've seen too ways of scaoing unblockablem down parring and knees will drop if i remember right (and you get some dmg), and this, i think was cool, good to know it works..
If you're talking about Shippu Jinrai, no it's not overpowered lol. Anyways, I just meant that Ryu kicks ass too and people don't need to always join the high tier band wagon.
Shippu Jinrai is Ken's weakest super art however the fact that there are plenty of ways to not only combo into it but hit confirm for it is a concept that can be often viewed as being "overpowered" in itself.
Ruu's Ryu is strong.

If you love using EX's then DON'T pick SA2
AbhiB 2 years ago
not true at all.
dkblade27 2 years ago 2
I personally say so cause W/O EX's Ryu is not as great
You can' t afford to use use EX's with SA2 cause it takes too long to build up the bar
AbhiB 2 years ago
you cant always rely on sa2. in certain situations you have to use ex meters. then when you get the opportunity, you throw out the super.
dkblade27 2 years ago
You can't rely on SA2 full stop
AbhiB 2 years ago
sa2 is good for patient players who play fundamentally and smart.

true ken is alot easier because he requires less strict timing and has more options.
