lol i stopwatched your 0-60 insides..idk if you did both test the EXACT same but the V2 shaved half a second off your 0-60 time..before..7.1 after 6.6
I have a 06. Type s with the V2 , race headers and exhaust and With all three mods it's made a huge difference. But I'm still getting a Comptech supercharger for my type s
hey has this intake done anything to how the exhaust sounds? i have a friend with an eclipse and his intake made his exhaust sound better. same for you?
In ur opinion, can u feel the v2 power increase a lot? cuz i read on some other websites that the v2 isn't that good and can actually decrease hp...or is that just a bunch of bs?
i think the V2 is pretty good intake. i definitely felt an increase in power but after driving for a while you can feel a slight loss of power from heatsoak.
if you want the best HP increase, getting a CAI is your best bet. but if you're afraid of hydrolocking your motor like me... get a SRI, best one being the V2 IMO.
ok thanks. also I've read some places on the internet that say the heatsoak on the aem v2 makes it lose horsepower to where its less powerful than stock. Even after the heatsoak takes place do think, in your opinion, it is still more powerful than stock?
@blkrsx69 Couldn't agree more about the heatsoak. I drive a 02 civic coupe, and the gains in hp and torque seem the greatest when i start the car for the first time and punch it. Still though, the intake performs great no matter when you drive. Much better than risking your engine's life with a CAI...
