  • i was born in 1982 and love singing this drunk with my freinds at the top of our lungs in a house party, Rule Brittania!

  • I wish I was around in the 70's :( I love Fleetwood Mac x

  • Total anger by him! Pissed off! ANGER!

  • absolutely wonderful!

  • I was 21...I had just seen them outdoors at Cleveland Stadium, at a World Series of Rock show! 80,000 ppl...all day/night show...I got up within 20 yards of the stage when the Mac played...it was awesome...summer of '77! Saw them on every tour through the "Say You Will" tour. MAC 4EVER!

  • Stevie called Lindsey strong because he'd collapsed and was hospitalized on July the 30th and had to have a spinal tap done... and still played this show on August the 7th! I'd say she's right, he's a tough dude.

  • Geesh, he was hot, holy shit, what was Stevie thinking???

  • @bonsgirl Stevie could have had any man she wanted in her day and did.

  • oh, now that makes me happy....

  • What a time to be 16 !!

  • Sorry . This is hurried and rashly performed.

  • you had a good time? well keep playing and you"ll have a better time...the longer you play time the better the time that you have will be...just a simple segment of time played many times will give you joy - its like meditation - just 4 minutes will not cut it - the world was made out of void through rhythm and the world has a rhythm (duality) to it - and the end of the world is the end of rhythm (chaos) (void)

  • Lindsey, as amazing as he is was just second hand news to Stevie, unfortunantely. I love this song and I know he did directed this to her - I did not understand what Stevie meant when she said"Lindsey is one strong man". I don't really care - I just love all of the controvery surrounding Lindsey & Stevie - It is very funny and also real life as we know it!!!

  • thanks for sharing. This was such an Awesome Album. So many classic rock tunes that still hold up today... woo hoo

  • I saw them at Alpine Valley (WI). I believe it was the 1978 tour. Went with some high school girlfriends. Needless to say, the concert was fantastic!!!

  • MORE COWBEL!!!!!!!!! @1:53

  • i need to get me a cow bell

  • Timeless band, few stand up like that after 30 years. My interpretation of the ending, Stevie made some smart ass crack that LB understood as a jab of some sort. Christine went up to him and said "just ignore it", took his guitar and hand it off.

  • @PraiseDog profile sAY UR 26

  • It look like after Stevie Nicks said, "Lindsey is one strong man", he handed his guitar to Christine and said, "I'm that strong-can you take this?"

  • Love the band. But this is my favorite song since the first time I heard it.

  • @TheDorisNoris I had this CD but I didn't listen to it now there's a bitch if there ever was one

  • Excelente canción, excelente video, gracias por compartirlo, Fleetwood Mac sin duda uno de los mejores grupos de la historia de la música, saludos.

  • amazing .....

  • fleetwood mac were on tour supporting the rumours album for 18 months..that's crazy notice the difference in the way lindsey and stevie look and dress at the end of the tour as opposed to the beginning

  • buckingham looked like he was well charged on coke during that!

  • Just a great band. The front "twins" are stellar, and the back of the band is one of the best to ever take a stage. Throw in one of the greatest musicians to play rock, a brilliant songwriter, and a beautiful soul, and you have a powerhouse.

  • I was around this time and they were my favorite.

But, I'm still surprised how all time great they were. I know, I know, I probably sound like an old codger, but man!!!!!!, NOBODY does this music anymore. It's rap, Lady Garbage, Britney "Can't Sing" Spears, and a lot of autotune junk.

Doesn't anyone really want to hear great music and see people who care about music these days, and not just being famous?

  • I love this song. I have Rumours album on LP & CD. Greetings from Mexico

  • thumbs up if something like this happened to you!

  • So happy to have been around during these years!!

  • @leeroynaggins Yeah. Me, too!

  • Great upload-thank you! I'm not sure I get the comment at the end-but it was funny and reminded me of the clip when they won the Grammy and in the last second of the speech Stevie suddenly awakens to blurt out "Thank You Warner" or something like that. I love this band!

  • haha how quick is this version. coked up and double speed.

    i'm from Paris

  • @snerteter123 shit!! is tehrea new verion?? or a remastered edition, with bonus tracks and all that shit?

  • @whipchops:

    /watch?v=WOBa_ZMaIk0&feature=related

  • more cowbell

  • oh m god, i wish i'd seen one of the concerts of seventies or early eighties...

  • @davesantos They were fantastic! The best I've ever seen in concert.

  • all coked out

  • @cbarrett34 stevies the reason i do that:)

  • Lindsey is fleetwood mac....what a man

  • At the end. Stevie quote "Lindsey is one strong man"...lol

  • To me Fleetwood Mac were way better with Lindsey & Stevie onboard than the original line-up with Peter Green. Here's Proof of Many great songs!!!

  • You can understand how Fleetwood Mac became bigger round the world with Lindsey Buckingham.

  • christine is so hot with her little swish swish as she plays percussion

  • lindseys soooo hot here

  • @SNDQwhiterabbit

    so is stevie nicks

  • @grizzle100 your absolutely right!

  • @SNDQwhiterabbit

No teenage crush on some idiot of an X factor for me I liked someone with talent and looks

  • Tusk Is The Mac's Best Album

  • awful

  • @trancebites trance, then the mac? oh you gotta be a bieber fan.

  • Lindsay with a tele? cool

  • super , einfach nur super .......

  • Love this. I also love Stevie's comment about Lindsey at the end. I mean after all, she should know how strong he is right? LOL

  • This takes me back.

  • Who is on aucostic guitar ? Is it McVee or some stagehand ?

  • @ZinkDude I think it's a guy named Ray Lindsey (yep, "Lindsey" or "Lindsay" is his LAST name), who was an extra musician for live shows back then. He may have also been Buckingham's guitar tech.

  • @Warjacki - Gotcha - Thanks ! interesting.

  • If this isnt what Youtube is all about, then I dunno what is

  • If this isnt waht Youtube is all about, then I dunno what is

  • Mick Fleetwood is an amazing drummer with the patience of Job to deal with the bands endorphine driven mood swings. Imagine the video if Shania Twain had joined the band, 3 girls together singing, Any man of Mine, while the male band members took turns slamming their head against a wall and their dick in a car door.

  • @waketheoblivious Shania w/ Fleetwood mac? what a crazy thought... and the rest of your statement is just plain stupid..

  • @waketheoblivious LOLOL!!

  • DYNAMITE!!!

  • one of the best ever versions of Second Hand News

  • One of the BEST!!

  • mmmm i love drug influenced music =)

  • As long as there is Lindsey I am happy.

  • Outstanding!!!!

  • flamingcrystal: I am always impressed by the background information you give.

It's always very interesting to read. Thanks.

  • 2nd version of Fleetwood Mac > 1st version of Fleetwood Mac.

  • @mrbobevans maybe this is the 3rd version of band, and I gotta tell you , that early 70s stuff is really good.

  • LOVE this!!

  • Great story with the upload. Good writing but the back story isn't that well known to all so maybe a few extra sentences about what happened with those two might be useful.

  • I love around 1:24 how Stevie sings "tossed around enough" so passionately! And so in love with Christine it's not even funny!

  • Is that Richard Dashut on the Ovation acoustic guitar? If it ain't him, who is it?!

  • The Mac is an absolutely great band. So is Abba though. Two completely different bands but awesome nevertheless.

  • Is there any instrument Christine McVie can't play?

  • 3 guys and 2 women make a pretty cool makeup for a band.

  • great track. I was 14 when this came out and what I remember was that it was just everywhere - almost anybody's record collection you raked through, no matter who their favourite band were would have rumours. I suppose its an obvious statement tho, since it sold in truckloads

  • people who know good music know who sounds good live.

  • awesome, puts the shite that is today's 'music' to shame...

  • One thing I think you should know........I aint gonna miss you when you go!!!

  • one of the best groups ever

  • agree with the comment below, and i was born in 77!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MrSnakey77 i agree with that comment and i was born in 95!!!!!!!!

  • One of the greatest bands around!!!!!!

  • You can tell the mic loves playing the drums

  • wheres that interview gone where Christine is battered and talks about playing the chair

  • omg "Lindsay is one strong man"

LOL she ould later move on to Mick Fleetwood's strong "Man"

    hahahahahahahahahah

but in all fairness, this is classic stuff and i miss it like my childhood memories.

  • One word - awesome. When I win lotto, I'm going to ask Lindsey to teach me that ryhthm.

  • FM rock!!

  • Think you read too much into a song buddy...

  • @CRISIS550166 I think you need to look into it more. This was the actual scenario. Go look it up

  • Unbelievable.

  • This is great footage :)

Thanks. Wonder who was that backup acustic guatarists behind Lindsay ?

  • Rumours must be one of the best albums ever!

  • Lovely at 3:52 when she put her arms round Lindsey - this might be before the split. Fab band - don't make them like this anymore.

  • Stevie sez:

Laugh with DEAD JFK as he

    reveals JOHN LENNONS ASSASSINS

    watch?v=akTM4CiKMcA

  • Lindsey's arms....good god.

  • Lindsey with a Fender Telecaster. I thought before his custom built guitars he was a strictly Les Paul guy.

  • bloody good song man. me and my stepdad rave to this in the car on long journeys :L:L

  • Still one of my favorite bands of all time.. They were genius.. More bands should be like this today!!! Music just aint the same...

  • @lucyfan1976

    100% with you !

  • Wonderful stuff; thanks for posting.

  • You go Christine...Talented lady!

  • I love the Tele Lindsey is playing. Also Christine is awesome on drums.

  • this song is so catchy

  • Me encanta Fleetwood Mac! Ty

  • Thanks for posting. Love this freaking song!

  • underated Lindsey

  • One of the best songs ever!

  • @vidprof1 The whole Rumors album was stellar. I grew up listening to it in diapers on vinyl, on a cassette, on CD and rocking the mp3. I have even listened to it on mini-disk, the format that protected disks and was doomed to fail.

  • we need more cowbell !!

  • undertakerstue no, I think they just made love in the tall grass...

  • Comment removed

  • So did Lindsey shave the porno beard in the middle of the tour then?

And is there anything Christine can't do?

  • Lindsey is one strong man>>> wtf? LOL

  • @ledamate It's only weird because I thought that's the last thing she'd say about Lindsey in that time epriod. Maybe it's because cocaine is a hell of a drug, IDK... Just speculating...

  • This is a classic song off a classic album! Music to dream by! Be strong, be happy! Dream!

  • @dorksnork1 did they make love in a haystack?

  • I like the Tele.

  • esos weyes si rifavan bien cabron!!!

  • Is that Christine or Stevie singing?

  • Yes to who? I asked if it was Christine or Stevie.

  • Both - Christine is on the snare drums.

  • Comment removed

  • Lindsey is super hot in this video and has an amazing voice, i almost wish the others were not singing with him

  • she must be referring to the vest he is wearing....nobody recognized it as hers? he sure was dreamy back then.....

  • High School in 70's listening to Rumours loved it

Proof that there were good bands in the 70's too!!!

  • There were nothing BUT good bands inthe 70's , Nowadays is another story/\.

  • @ValerieBarlow i completely agree

  • @ValerieBarlow fleetwood mac is deffinately one of the great blues bands for sure!!! to bad the 70s style music wouldn't have stuck around!!

  • @ValerieBarlow i call BS on that statement..... ABBA was NOT a good band. but you're right, 90% of todays music sucks.

  • @MuTheta OK you're right ABBA wasn't a good BAND, per se, but I liked a few of their songs (not many though) as they did lean toward the faggoty side of pop music. But I were probably pissed when I wrote that so I succumb.

  • @ValerieBarlow Apparently you've never heard of disco.

  • I LOVE FLEETWOOD MAC¡¡¡¡

  • shit this is brilliant

  • @Simon14447 ...This is cocaine before it had time to backfire, yet I'm digressing. lol

Yes, the 70s were bountiful with music, & evolving at a phenominal rate. We'll never see the likes of this stuff again.

  • @Simon14447 big time

  • he so suits that tele

  • love this tusky version

  • It might have been a chair in the studio but if watch the video closely, you will see that Christine is playing a snare drum!!

  • this has to be after 1978.

  • Naw this is totally the summer 1978 tour. After that summer they did not tour again until fall 1979...by that time LB was all new wave with his tailored suits and a custom built guitar. 78 was the last time he used other guitars onstage...

  • Woooh, that's great! haha. Especially Christine on the drums, too funny! Actually it might be a chair. It was a chair when they recorded it...

  • I know

  • Stevie's tits are perfect!

  • wow i really liked this!

i think im in love with lindsey's bare arms hmmmmmmmm bring back the sleeveless look linds :P

  • I know, right? For someone who wasn't feeling all that well he looks pretty amazing.

  • Thanks, best version of Second Hand News! Lots of "energy" in that performance.

  • That whole marching chair beat was so stolen from the start of Jive talking lol

  • Good stuff. Not one of my fav bands but no doubt Lindsey can rock it with the best even when wounded.

  • Lindsey looks so sexy and frail

  • For a time, when I was a kid in the mid-seventies, they were the shit. I remember my older brother camping out for tickets.

  • Fucking Sweet!!!

  • lay me down in the tall grass and let me do my stuff...

  • :D sounds cool
