The finish is beautiful, the hardware arrived tight with no loose rattles, the neck is smooth and easy to work. This guitar has a nice feel and look as well as a good balance. A great value for the price. I've gotten compliments on how SEXY this axe looks already. I look forward to a ...

look sweetheart, its very simple, cort needs labor to make product, if they dont have labor they screwed. So if everybody quits, game over! They'll have to negotiate - get it!
@trevinor3 Not so simple, they're getting guitars made in indonesia and india instead (you'll notice these shitty guitars on the market now under the ibanez and esp-ltd brands)
Market forces will solve this problem the way they solve every problem. Don't look to the government for help.....they never do; they just CLAIM they will...and then you somehow get screwed. Go figure.
Yeah travelling all the Anaheim fills my heart with pity for these workers. But I would advise them to engage a lawyer to represent them and claim compensation of sorts or get another job with another company. If only they could gather their resources and start another guitar making company it would be good, I would fully support them. Good luck good people.
Why don't these people start a new guitar company as Gibson employees did,as Guild employees did.Where did these poor workers get the money to travel around the world in protest ?
And people say the USA is supposed to compete with these people. We can never compete with them because they don;t give a damn about their workers and will do anything to save money including sacrifice safety. People also bash unions in the USA. If it weren't for unions, corporation would have us all working in these types of conditions. This is the legacy of NAFTA.
@kellytttt ASwell as Ibanez and LTD. You'll notice that they have a lot of made in Indonesia guitars on the market now because the Korean guys were fired.
part 2: Nike shoes are manufactured in some of these low wage countries…I was recently in Home Depot and was looking at some wood clamps—US made were very good construction wise, but the Chinese made were so much cheaper that I had a patriotic melt down and could not decide. As a consumer I want a cheap product for a great price. As a patriot, I want “the best made in my country.”
Very difficult situation. I play mainly older 80’s G&L instruments, but we are all guilty of purchasing lower priced products because of the price. The problem is that many of the cheaper priced products can be very good quality—it’s a matter of perception, which can be greater than reality. We perceive that it’s a better quality product because of the brand name. Look for part 2 due to lack of character space.
Cort guitar is beautiful and it sounds different from other ivanez...its just some people who owned it just dont know how to tuned there gadgets and guitar amps in proper tones...its the reality man..how cud a seymour duncan pick ups sounds bad dude when most of the recording artist are using it..ahaha noob..
@ITRIPOVERMYCOCK i agree with that. i don't like the whole band @ all. they shattered kiss, by putting those 2 goones n the band with the original makeup.
Cort are a now recognised guitar manufacturer and this treatment of workers is nothing short of dishonourable.
All musicians must feel a bond with these people as they spend their lives making the instruements that we love & enjoy playing & I include Fender,Gibson,Ibanez etc as these companies are also involved & need to address the workers plight.
