I'd like to buy this game.

However I have one question : Is it true that every zone in this game is "instanced" ?

Meaning that every area in the game has multiple copies of itself to limit number of player per zone and improve experience .

I heard rumors of this but want confirmation from people who actually play.

and also cortosis would be a very poor choice of material for forging swords unless you are fighting ONLY lightsaberwielders as cortosis is a rather fragile material. (got all the info because i just finished reading the hand of thrawn duology)

The Felucians are natual force users, and the entire planet is force-y. The skeletons of the creatures have little crystals in them that can be inbued with force. The "sword" is a skull blade that has been imbued with the force, making it able to deflect lightsabers.

use lightning on the "snakes" wrapped around the big tree. They are actually roots and they will spaz/fling out and kill anything they hit if you electrocute them.

1:20 according to the bio of those guys, they have imbued their swords with force energy to keep them stable. That's one explanation, the other is that it would be too easy if you could just slash through their weapons.

In the Fungus Tower, the last holocron where we have to double jump from one platform to the next, I just can't seem to time my jumps right and keep falling.

if anyone is wonderig how their swords block the lightsaber, then i have the answer. Their swords have a cortosis wave built into them, witch is a mateerial that can resist lightsaber attacks. In earlier titles cortosis was mentioned. Titles like Jedy Knight 2: Jedi Outcast and Knights of the Old Republic.

@TheUrbanAdventurer actually cortosis would make the lightsaber temporarily short out on contact and you can see that that doesn't happen so i would guess it could either be phrik (which is also used in the electrostaffs of grievous' magnaguards) or the felucians are force sensitive and have mastered the ability to imbue their weapons with the force itself (as master vodo siosk did with his walking cane when fighting exar kun)

The sword can stop the lightsaber because it's made of Rancor bones, which are resistant to lightsaber strikes.

They explain swords stopping light sabers in Knights of the old republic, It was something about a micro-weave mesh coating on the blade that makes it impenetrable to light saber blades and it was developed by non-jedi to combat that sort of situation.

I didn't find the holocrons that hard to find. I had to play it over twice though, on the levels where i missed some, but i found them all on my own, doing missions and bonus' in less than 15 hours.. Which is nothing compared to Prototype as an example. ; )

the reason felucian blades are able to block marek's lightsaber is because theyre shielded by the force! it's obvious! the felucians are force wielders but not as powerful as a trained jedi, and its obvious that with shaak ti's help they became even more powerful.

Thats what i usually do is force throw them into one another, it even kills the smaller one's if they have shields. Of course throwing objects into them works well, and you can land some good combo's if you give them a little lightning zap before hand....lol have fun :D

To beat those blue guys easily USE THE FORCE! No, I'm not kidding. Force attacks are the easiest way to kill the blue guys. I like to use Force Grip and knock 1 into many. MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU! LOL! XD

Glitch i did 3 times on my 360 version of Star Wars Force Unleashed, put in codes for your Force Abillities to be unlocked at any point after your Starkiller, saber crystals and costumes codes as well. After entering the codes play to the start of a new lvl, and select a different costume after the opening movie. Do not change costumes B4 you start a new lvl. Now select exit game, then continue game, now you can save, and keep everything. Except the costumes, you keep the 1 you picked. Enjoy :)

At 1:53 the space between the first and second platform you jump on to is much larger. The second platform is a lot higher....

after spending like 30 to 45 minutes (possibly a slight exageration) i was able to get to it. i had to charge my force push and blast those two platforms. when they rock back and forth they bounce up and down a little. i got on the lower one, time my jump, and was able to get it at like my seventh try. it my be an annoying, inconvenient way to do it but it worked eventually.

@drkprince08 if you don't get it right the first try, the first platform sinks lower and it becomes impossible. If that happens you have to carefully jump onto the edge of the 'leap point' and go for the second platform.

Felucians aren't too hard to kill. Just grap three at once and chuck em. If they get too close use repulse.

About resisting lightsaber by sword we can say two teories:

1. It's upgraded with cortosis which resists lightsaber

2. Sith(these old ones 3678BBY) used force to make their metal swords(only jedi known then how to make lightsabers)resistant to lightsaber attacks so Shaak Ti could power up the felucians swords with force
