  • girl i feel you on that!! who in the world makes love while listening to Ricky Dillard??? lol i mean seriously, some people are just too deep for their own good!!

  • Lord, can we just enjoy the the music without having to argue and debate???????????? Can we all agree that this is a beautiful, touching song that we enjoy, and leave our opinions about religion out of it? Nothing but love and respect for all of you.

  • Im sorry who said that singing R&B was a sin?

  • you can sing gospel and r&b one is for the soul and the other is for the body....I would not like to dance with my husband to gospel....God did not say if you sing gospel you can not bless ppl with music of human love...before understanding the love of God you must first understand human love and know that you can not have one w/o the other.....@ pinkygirl843 i knw that as a church person that seem rht but as a Christian you will learn better....love you

  • dont forget the greatest men in the bible sinned but one day got it together!!!!! The lord still can USE you while your messed up!!!! WE ALL GOTTA CLEAN OUT OUR CLOSET!!!!

  • @Totalpraise1000 But if you KNOW the truth, you have to LIVE by it. We are all messed up and wretched beings, but yet we have to live for Christ everyday and present ourselves as Christians in all that we do.

  • @thecoolguy010Im trying to figure out why you commented but to Correct your comment>>>> Present our self as Christians??? Do you KNOW the TRUTH? You say present ourselves as Christians the same religion that killed beat not only blacks and Indians, steal and destroy what dont belong to them ??? When I found the TRUTH I came from among that religion I follow Christ not Christians!!! If you research and stop taking man word for it you might be set free too!!!!!!

  • @Totalpraise1000 If you read the book of Acts, you will see that the first Christians didn't name themselves that way. They were known as Christians because their relationship with Christ was so close that they seemed to be like Him in every way. That's why they were named Christians, they followed God and not man. We are to do the same, I never implied anything otherwise. Study for yourself to know the truth.

  • @Totalpraise1000 Amen!

  • it's time for the gospel artis to start singing like this again,we really need gospel to be gospel and r&b to be r&b ,just saying,Karen Clark Sheard really sang this song love her.

  • FOR ALL HAVE SINNED AND FALLEN SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD!!! WEHRE SIN ABOUNDS HIS GRACE (STILL MUCH) MORE ABOUNDS!!!!!

  • Singing without the anointing is just singing singing with the anointing is ministering.

  • Cogic for life this song brings me back to my heritage

  • Speak Holy Spirit......

  • This song reminds me of heaven.

  • Th Clark sister's harmonies are 2nd to NONE! Sends chills through my bones I love it

  • I have had the pleasure of working with these young ladies and their mother,(The Late Dr. Mattie Moss Clark) I tell you, this was a Heavenly Experience within itself. We are doing a "Mattie Moss Clark Song" for our Choir Anniversary Concert: -(The Song: "Let Everything That Hath Breath") In doing research for this song, I couldn't help but think of the days when I used to rehearse, and sing with the Bailey Temple COGIC Choir, and the Southwest Michigan State Choir. I am Deacon Brodie.

  • @sirkest123 wow i want to meet them sniff man y i cant meet em. i love them

  • these women are the most pretigious gospet group of all times!!!!

  • Whoever Thinks The Lead Singer In This Song, Is Other Than Karen, Really Need To Do Their Homework!!!! Karen Is Leading The Whole Song, She Just Started Off In A Lower Register.

  • My all time fav

  • every time i hear this song i cant help but cry its a blessing to me

  • @pinkygirl843 The danger of ministering without being fully in is that you can find yourselves eternally lost. Matthew 7:21. Many will say on that day Lord, Lord have I not taught, prophesied, and have done many wonderful things in your name and He will tell them He don't know them. He will call them workers of iniquity. God wants obedience. God is not impressed with gifts, He give those without repentance. Without purity there is no true power. No new wine go into old wine skins. Repent.

  • 3 people are the anti-Christ. Smh

  • Dorinda is leading the whole song

  • @atgreen1285 No it aint, its Jackie

  • @rch1jr really i thought it was karen

  • laaawwwd Twinky belted that note at the end

  • @imhappywithmyself thank u :)

  • @imhappywithmyself your are welcome

  • This is an O.G. Gospel classic

  • Twinkie is a beast!

  • DID TWINKIE SING 1ST? I THINK SO

  • Who is singing the lead is it Karen?

  • @dakid86able its twinkie not karen, karen came out with the first solo album but she was second lead while they were a group

  • i will never get tired of this song, this song is soooo peaceful and the way they delivered it, fabulous!!!!

  • The Clark sisters are amazing, this song is so anointed, I feel so willing and ready to serve God through this song. Continue to be blessed sisters!

  • There are no words to describe the words of this anointed song. Talk about reach and grab it. OMG their voices are so rich and different; I haven't honestly heard a good match. So original it ain't even funny. From this song to You Brought the Sunshine. Thank you Lord for the Clark Sisters. :0)

  • JUST BEAUTIFUL AND SOULFUL AS ONLY THE CLARK SISTERS CAN DO.

  • when i first heard this i wasnt expecting them to say my name (Shekinah) and i just love this song its brings tears to my eyes

  • L O V E this!!! They are among some of the greatest singers...I also like the drums on this song too. It makes the song so interesting! That's something I never pay attention to ever.

  • praise god

  • Actually the first time I heard this song was when I heard Coko version off of her debut Gospel Album.

  • yes leandria sung the song and she killed it like she did every song, every week

  • @willew1950 she sure did sh had my mama in the living room crying and jumping artound

  • thank you clark sisters 4 this inspiration i love you so much you got to here me sing it thank you god

  • LOVE THIS SONG

  • It doesn't matter whether if a secular artist or a gospel artist sings a gospel song....it doesnt take away from the song in any way to me. A gospel song is a gospel any way you put it. The gospel singers were in the world before they came to the Lord...so there's no difference. Thankyou ( :

  • @pinkygirl843

There is a difference, the bible says "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you." That's 2 Corinthians 6:17. You cant sing secular music and promote sensualism and sing gospel music and minister effectively. The sound may be good but the lifestyle has to lineup with the Word that is being presented in a song.

  • @MsCocoaBrown01 - Amen!!!!!!!!! The anointing, commitment and single minded manner to minister God's word through song definitely sets the Clark sister's version apart from Coko's remake. I believe she only sings Gospel music now, but Faith, Fantasia and Lil Mo are secular artists. I'm not condemning their effort because God is capable of redeeming anyone, but just as you stated in order to minister effectively your lifestyle should promote and revere Christ first.

  • @mlbaylor1 Amen and God bless!

  • Comment removed

  • @MsCocoaBrown01 I know this is really late...but what I was saying is that, no matter who sings a gospel song, it still has the same affect as it would if a "saved" person sang it. I can speak for this because I'm in a gospel, singing group. All the members aren't saved, but we're all trying to make an effort to fulfill God's will for us. Even though we don't live the total "saved" life, doesn't mean that we're not striving to be perfect...so as the secular musicians.
  • @pinkygirl843 Ministering through a preaching, teaching or singing ministry the lifestyle should line up with the Word of God and that includes being saved how can you sing about God salvation and your not saved. Talent is good, too many ppl sound good, it doesnt replace the annointing. The Bible does tell us to "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." Matthew 5:47-48. Perfect in it's orignial context in the Greek means to be chaste, clean, pure etc- saved

  • @MsCocoaBrown01 You betta preach preacha!

  • @MsCocoaBrown01 You are close to being right...what you should say is they need to be truly SAVED and not just religious talkin about how they wa raised in 'church' as if that trumps the shed blood of Jesus on the cross!

tHE GOSPEL isn't 'LIVE RIGHT"...(PEOPLE DEAD IN SINS CAN'T LIVE RIGHT)

Believe Christ died for your sins- is something the devils singers never say. AMEN

  • denise sounds good she got that deep thing going on ..... i luv it

  • oh my goodness i never realized that neicy was singing lead on this, omg neicy can sing! i really underestimated her!

  • @aynota yes denise does sing lead in passes in she drops out to karen sings the rest of it

  • They cant be touched they are endowed. They are angels to me especially Karen.

  • niecy was own first verse sanging lead

  • sang twinkie!!!!!!!!!!

  • thats niecy on first verse of this song

  • sing, ladies, sing!

  • I love Karen's voice sooooooo much!!!

  • Makes you wanna walk right!

  • This song had such an affect on me as a child and I didnt even quite understand the concept...smh..

  • It's the Anointing that Destroy Yokes.... The Clark Sisters has that Anointing.

  • POWERFUL SONG!

  • Lil mo & fantasia etc.. did a good job at this song, but the clark sisters have the anointing

  • THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @dameboi

this is the best comment I've read about any ministers in music in all of my time surfing youtube! WELL SAID ABOUT THE ANOINTING!

  • @dameboi

Oh yes I completely agree 100%! When secular artist sing gospel music it's not the same! They may have the talent but it takes the annointing, I need more than a good sound!

  • @MsCocoaBrown01 youre right....and i couldnt agree more...another thing is when gospel artist sng from their souls. its like, when they sing from their souls, that makes their song so much more sinsere....thats when they are classified as singers....because if some one sings from any where but the heart or soul, thye're just entertainers...no matter what message they're trying to convey...and these women here are true singers....

  • Endow me Elohim,..... that i may be pleasing unto you and not shame the Body of Christ. Amen

  • this song just moves me!

  • God Bless you and the clark sisters and i pray that anyone who visits this song or listiens to it that god would endow you just like i had done for me and cotinueing to do do so

    God Bless

  • i can listen to this song amillion times and never get tired of

  • me too

  • me three!!!

  • @Nicolew97 ME too. Nicole do you think the spirit is saying something to us. I amlike okay then endow me with the gifts lord. Its like Drew said its best to be anointed. People can take your appointment, they cannot take your annointing.

  • i can't see why people say that coco's version was better but im thinkin like....why would people say sumthin like that but the clark sisters was the originally singingers of the songs....o well i guess thats their opinion

  • I have to say, I don't really like Coco's version. The Clark Sisters got it going on! And the Live versions are just crazy!

  • Ive been hearing some folks say that they think the version Coko done was better than this one.I beg to differ, with the exception of Fantasia, those other girl"s voices cant compare with Karen Clark's. She is by far the pioneer of females that can blow.I've never heard anyone do it better than her and Twinkie Clark those girls got a long way to go. Im a sucker for original music I think this original version has a strong annointing on it that cant be copied The music to Coko's version is better

  • i agree. but, in the origial version, karen and twinkie weren't the only ones who had lead parts. denise, who was a 2nd soprano, led as well. along with dorinda, who is a first alto, and jacky who is a 2nd alto. all of them had parts. karen, twinkie, AND denise are all hitting those high notes. not just karen and twinkie.

  • The Clark sisters have such a blend that at times one sounds like the other but who sang what note and what part is not important. What's important is that they SANG that song - with the annointing!! You see-it's the annointing that breaks the yoke. If you focus on who sang what - first or last, alto or soprano - you're liable to miss the full effect of the message and the Holy Spirit. The reason that some people are drawn to the original version is the drawing power of the Holy Spirit.

  • I here a lot of folks saying things like the version coko done was better than this one i beg to differ the music to coko's version is only better but with the exception of fantasia none of the other girls voices are compatible with karen clark sheard she is by far the pioneer of females in gospel music

  • Hahah thats funny Tasia was added at the last minute, Coko's voice is GOOD and Faith evans sounds similar to Karen. So I wouldn't say all that.

  • I nearly sheded a tear on this song cause i love them thank you so much clark sisters I love you!!!
