me and my girlfriend saw something simular to this in nyc about month ago, we were laying down on outside bed under the covers and looking at the sky after we had hot sex, and i saw something that was moving slowly thru the sky i showed her and told her it was setalite and we were looking at it, but then it stoped and started going diffrent direction and then stoped again and flashed reallly really fast to left side and disapeared

I've seen bright objects moving across the sky in Chicago at least 5 times. I should point out that this was possible only after observing the sky for two straight hours. My brother didn't believe me so he joined me one night. After almost three hours and getting ready to go inside, we both saw it. It was moving at a incredibly high rate of speed, plus, it was extremely to high to be an airplane and what not. It's funny how it came to a stop and then after a few seconds kept on going.

And the ones they call satellites are not you cant see satellites there to far away like seeing a car on mount hood those lights in the sky are 30 to 60 miles away and 1 to 2 miles across. If you think there satellites take a GPS out when it says there's 12 satellites above you look up you cant see them!
Yes, you are right. In big cities people are so busy and always in a hurry that they do not look up unless rain is coming.

@Ultrabluu Sorry! That's not how gps sats work. There are 24 sats ( at the very least) all are positioned differently and only 8-12 are within the horizon at any given time. They are like a spider's web. They triangulate with your device to lock on to your position and very few are directly above you at any given time. And you can see sats at night,they look like stars but are moving at a steady speed.

@Ultrabluu That's completely false. You can see some satellites moving at a very fast rate of speed across the sky at night. A good example is seeing the International Space Station at night- you can see it with an unaided eye since it's the 2nd brightest object in the sky, and it goes around the Earth twice a day.

It's impossible to tell with that extremely poor video quality, but I believe it's simply a police helicopter shining a spotlight.
