  • Amazing job

  • You are a wonderful artist!! I love your style, and you are an inspiration when the craft juices are not quite flowing! I am going to create something wonderful today! Thank you very much for all your hard work!

  • I love everything you create. Keep it going. :)

  • Absolutely fantastic

  • Wow that's amazing ! i'm looking forward to watch more vids from you, that's why I suscribed. Good and amazing work.

  • Hello,

I'm always so impressed by your projects! I love the style you use and I am always genuinely inspired. :)

I do have a question though, how do you know what kinds of glues and finishes work for which mediums? I find I am constantly trying to use some paint or adhesive for a multi-media work that, after just a week or so, falls apart or easily rubs off....

    Thank you!!

  • @aicilefshere I've mostly learned by trial and error, and a lot of finding out what "not" to use lol Glossy Accents is one of the best adhesives for heavy embellishments, and Golden Gel mediums are good for paper, using over paints and on vintage projects where a matt finish is required. I think the phrase you get what you pay for is certainly true where adhesives are concered.

  • @masitama The Golden Product I use in this project is Gel Medium, not a powder. It is used in this instance as an adhesive. Gel medium ccan be found in any good art store. Golden is a popular brand and high quality, but other brands are available too.

  • Love the way you can make things looking old :)

  • Yet another awesome Rach video! You are THE best at getting cool aged finishes on stuff. BIG hugs, Julie

  • I've watched all of your videos. You are so talented!! Question....what do you do with all of the art you create?

  • @gloriwest I display most of my art in my home, and some pieces I make for gifts :-)

  • Love your videos and your wonderful art...If anyone knows of where you can get those little boxes in Canada??

  • Beautiful!!!

  • can't wait to see the other parts !

  • very cool rach! that lumiere stuff gives a really cool look, almost like rub n' buff. How does it hold up? TFS... super fun vid! :-)

  • @mybutterflykisses12 The Lumiere is wonderful stuff, especially the Halo colours which are 2-tone. If you want to invest, they do a taster pack (bottles about the size of alchol ink bottles). I love all the colours, some are a little more transparent than others, but really give projects the wow factor since they are all metallic or pearlescent. They are acrylic based paints, so hold up just the same way as regular acrylics. You NEED some! lol Hugs, Rach

  • AMAZING, rach :)! love the papers, the stamping, the inking! thank you for sharing your techniques and wonderful project with us! on to part 2! *hugs* steph :)

  • Assemblage turns me on!!!

  • You do a wonderful job with your fingers1 lol

  • Great idea! Didn't know they sold Bob Ross things our there in UK. the was a fabulous painter. I've never seen his Gesso before. We would always see him oh public here in the States. We would also see him sometimes at restaurants often. After he died of Cancer we would see his wife alot around town. She's nice. He was adorable & a great teacher. We miss him. I really like your style. Why do you use Gel Medium to stick your paper down instead of glue? Is it like Mod Podge?

  • @mississchic Gel medium is an adhesive, so yes, like Mod Podge, but dries with a matt finish, so better for this style of work if any leaks out. Not as sticky as Mod Podge either, so easier to work with.

  • @RachO113 Thanks for telling me Miss Rachel. XOXO
