it's amazing that these same 2 players competed in the final of this tournament exactly 10 years ago!!! it really shows how legendary both of them are.

another thing i wanted to mention is that I play with a Black Knight C2C nanofire (It's very light).. and I tested my friends Yonex Armortec 700 the other day, the raquet that Peter Gade currently uses, and I can't believe how heavy that racquet is!!!

It's soooooo head-heavy and extra stiff. I'm impressed he's so fast with it.

Peter Gade is currently use Arcsaber 10(and Arcsaber Z Slash for awhile like Taufik and Chong Wei do),he use AT700 before,and so as Taufik and Lin Dan.You should also watch how amazing Taufik use his AT700,he make it look like NS9900.I hope I'm good enough(and more) to control my lovely AT700!

i am new in badminton and would like to ask something... my fren told me there is something called the service point, but it is not happening in this match...is this because that different matches have different ways of counting the points?

That rule has been abolished, as of 2008 I think. It was the case that a player used to have win their serve before they could start scoring points.

However, the powers that be decided to change this rule to make badminton a quicker and more exciting game! Now the Games are quicker and every point counts to the score so there is no room error at any point in the match!!

well.. taufik isnt as good as he used to be...since he lost early in the 2008 olympic he admitted that he has lost his 'spirit for the game' in someway... even before 2008 his performance is rather unstable....

I even thought (im indonesian) that taufik has retired from badminton... so im quite surprised when i found this video of 2009 match.. (turns out that he only resigned from the national association and go independent)
