Special Olympics Canada Powerlifter, John "Jackie" Barrett, had that similar experience at the 2011 Special Olympics World Summer Games in Athens when the bar rolled over his head during the Squat. He suffered no injuries, and he even broke the Special Olympics World Squat Record in his third attempt.
