entry ways do not need to be locked in order for it to be considered trespassing. if my car is unlocked or my house door is unlocked and you enter it uninvited, i.e i don't want you there, then it is considered trespassing. A farmers field does not need to be enclosed or posted in order for it to be considered trespassing. in laymans terms, any uninvited traversing over anyone elses property is considered trespassing. key word being invited.
