@ilikepie442 theres actually more in common then just that. they are both super soldiers, they both have sizable aresenals, the music is comparable in style, both were very mysterius characters with little background until recent games, armor is somewhat similar to an extent. both have wide open worlds that dont feel really linear (even tho halo is somewhat linear), both are fighting a faction of aliens consisting of varius species (halo has covenent and metroid has space pirates)

Both have protagonists in tech armor.(MJOLNIR armor and the Power Suit)

Both have aliens who want to destroy and infect everything (Halo has the Flood and Metroid has the X, Metroids aren't as similar to the Flood as the X are)

Both have evil sentient alien organizations(Covenant, Space Pirates)

Both have dead alien races (Forerunners, Chozo)

Can't people just like both?

I do like Metroid a bit more though.

Then, the Zero Mission Re - Edit.

It made me felt some videogames actually grow with you, and the mature in a very simmilar way as a child does.

Plying MEtrid for NEs was quite good... But playing Zero Mission was even better, i had all those memories from the first metroid...

Brinstar is the upper cavernous area of the planet Zebes, which is the planet Metroid(Nes)/Super Metroid(SNes)/Zero Mission(GBA) all take place on. Return of Samus for the Gameboy takes place on SR388, the homeworld of the Metroids, themselves.

Brinstar is on Planet Zebes, and it is Just under Crateria, which is the surface of the planet, Brinstar are underground tunnels with rock full with acid, and an underground jungle AND swamp.

Brinstar also connects with Norfair, which is even deeper underground and has heat and lava, and Tourian which is the evil stronghold.

if money is the reason you stayed far from metroid just google "Snes Emulator" and "Super metroid rom" and have fun. gamepad will make it perfect.
