  • Are you one of those old weirdos who likes to play with toys

  • @Angelberry08

actually, I'm one of those old weirdos who likes to play with toys. (actually, I'm 19, so, if that's considered old, I'll leave that up to you, but I collect toys, and I always will, so when I'm 60, feel free to hate!)

  • @Angelberry08 get fucked

  • what does trim mean ?

  • @fipplepop123 lets say ur plane, heli is always turning to the right u can trim it so it is always turning to the left to counter so it stays straight if that makes sense

  • cool motercycle

  • Great video and review as always Dave. Much appreciated!

  • It's nice to see an older guy enjoying his toys. I'm 46 and glad to be single - any of my previous girlfriends would be jealous if bought something like this, not getting attention and would probably break it. I'm gonna have to get something like this. Thanks for the review.

  • i make real Ch47 for boeing. not toys.

  • aaaa!! attac big cat!!!!!1

  • syma sounds funny

  • The aspect ratio is messed up on your video and it's very distracting. Proportions of everything are wrong. Can you delete it and repost it with the correct aspect ratio?

  • The aspect ratio is messed up on your video. It's squished in one direction. Can you delete it and repost it with the correct aspect ratio?

  • Hi how much did the big one cost? I want it so much :D

  • Good review, yep first thing I did was take the Spring off the Throttle, better, just remember to always have zero throttle when you switch on. I also have less strikes with the Tandem models, and gotta love that Buzzing sound you only get from twins.

the infra red sensor on mine is too far recessed to keep a sygnal though, so im wondering if you could tell me if its possible to fix it. I have to stay right under it or it loses contact and falls like a stone. none of my others are like that. thanx for any advice.

  • Your input in what the gyro will add to the tandem axle chinook and if it would benefit from a gyro? Or will it just be extra unnecessary weight? Thanks, and keep the videos coming.

  • Hey nice vid, I've always wanted to get into rc planes/helicopters. I just always loved them. My brother had one of these that he got from a place in the Mall and I wanted to do some research before I bought one and see if I could get one for cheaper. XHELI.com is currently out of stock of the one you have shown in the video, however they do have in stock, for $2 more, a unit with a gyro. Another website has the regular unit for just $30.00. I know its just $2 difference but I wanted to know.

  • i've crashed mine so many times, into the walls and other items. i have the next size up!!! its 1 of the strongest helicopters in the world!!! :D

  • Got mine for $19.95!

  • Thanks Dave

  • GREAT TOY...GREAT MUSIC....AM GONNA GET ONE TMR

  • I GOT 1

  • had this.. DONT BUY cause its styroform starts to....well hard to explain but break ....erode in a way....mine broke and i never crashed it JUST IN AIR SPLIT IN HALF cause of TOO much vibrations. callled the company and they said i used it too much and strained it by controlling it too much....

  • hey i have one just like that but it keeps spinning also it keeps going back. whats rong with it >.<

  • @628blade spinning around might be the trim going back wards check the balance bars and blades if they seem ok then you might need to get a refund as these helicopters are mass produced and are easily broken especially if you got it delivered my brother bought one and it arrived broken they are very good fun and easy to fly also very stable.

  • ahh i envy ur garage

  • I saw the toy version of that at electronic store it cost around 20 bucks but i buy the syma version.

  • i had the bigger version of the CH-47. i hatted the fact that it didnt have Gyro but it was built tough all around.

  • ordered the mini version, which I believe is a couple inches bigger, on amazon august 23. I hate to wait for it in the mail.

  • NICE!!!

  • it looks hard to trim

  • @raf4jack no just use a little knob in the middle of the controller very easy.

  • does this helicopter have a gyroscope??

  • @Ninjameow97 urm i have the mettle version and have owned one of these some people say they have gyros how however most people just believe it uses the balance bar whatever way round they are very stable and even a first time flyer could fly one.

  • lol your cat was like wtf

  • I like ur mower thats a nice mower

  • i have this heli it flys great

  • is that better than the Jamare Chinook??

  • ANG: like that and works well

PL: mam takeigo i dobre sie sprawdza

  • looks like a simpler version of venom's micro troop transport

  • I couldn't find a review of the SYMA s022 - have you done one?

  • just ordered it.

  • i bought the same exact one today

  • i wish i could have all that stuff

  • i like your tractor more than the helicopter

  • cool

  • lol the controller is biger then the cute the helicopter

  • so ive seen that you've done vidoes on both the Syma S026 and the Emax 9058 and i was wondering witch one you would recommend. this is my first heli and i am not going to buy another one so i dont care about the different controlls but i do not really want the syma because of it controller and that it gets messed up by the sun so i would like your opinion. thanks

  • I just received the Syma S022 chinook today. I have charged it for about an hour, but it is not working. I was told to turn on the transmitter first and then the helicopter switch, but it still does not work. Do you think it may be on the wrong frequency? Can you change the frequency in the transmitter?

  • @GAboy3030 Try switching the channel on the transmitter.. You can choose between A, B or C...

    Just try one of these...

  • @GAboy3030 on the top, theres a switch. on the bottom of the heli, theres a letter. on the switch, match the switch setting to the letter on the helicopter.

  • I have one of thees. But it has trouble. When I take off it doesn't get very high and it goes forward automatically. when I press the b trim button it doesn't work. I know I need to replace something. But what? also what is the difference between this and the Emax Mini Chinook, the S022 Army Chinook 3CH Electric RTF RC and the Coast Guard Chinook 2CH Electric RTF RC ? there all Chinooks.

  • just got mine today, i had one blade strike but i was rocking it back and forth to try and cause one. I picked up 1 extra set of front and rear blades just in case but there was no damage :) great little heli, i am very happy with it.

  • cant decide whether to go for V22 Osprey Vertical Take Off RC Plane or the Syma MICRO CH-47 Chinook Helicopter.

  • Nice vid ;) I have a chinook I have put a vid of it on youtube check my channel out I really like these chinooks !

  • i like indoor action

  • YES very very gooooooooood model.I now buy!

  • how do you know if the batteries are low ?????????????? on the controller

  • I have one of these and would recommend it for any beginner:)

  • I love the Syma brand. They take pride in their products and build to a very high standard (unlike another brand beginning with 'S') This is easily the best value, best fun, best looking r/c helicopter available. I've got two already and I'm ordering a third! I'm modifying the first one into a special forces MH-47 (video coming soon!)

  • Very cool dude, I ordered two of these and can't wait to get em.

  • gooood

  • i have a problem.

if i charge my batery and it is ready to fly

and i fly with it like 10 sec it wil lose air.

but when i take the body off it will fly just normal like 13 min orso

can any body please help me??

  • look in the parts of contact maybe a cable is touching some part when you use the body and do not when you take of the body

  • @viss3n battery could be getting hot??? im new to this kind of thing but just let it cool down before use.

  • hes the modern gepetto i think pinocchio is filming em lol

  • look at that room its full of. . . .t to oys

  • i got it to day and it rocks like heaven

it is so cool and smooth and tiny

  • G'day dave got one after watching post and love it

Many thanks for showing us how it works

    shane

  • it flys really good i have one its super easy

  • Flies about 5 mins (effective), charges again in 30. The remote control is IR (I think, at least some LOS), but I have never experienced out-of-range-issues. Oh, and the LEDs in the bottom are quite handy for picking the exact landing spot (I use saucers for helipads:). All in all: GET ONE!

  • It can be flown very presicely with som experience. As it is so light, any draft from open doors, windows etc. will impact the flight - also do NOT take it outside. There IS wind - even if you don't feel it, this helo will! Have had one blade strike, no damage though. You will experience some of the same effects as with a larger helo model, particularly the donut ring effect, so be gentle on descents. But again, it is very rugged, so don't worry too much.

  • Bought one a week ago. (For all Danes: It's currently on sale for DKK 128 in Harald Nyborg). It is surprisingly rugged. Smashed it into the wall, into the ceiling, into...well, everything. As soon as you see you're in trouble, release the spring-loaded throttle lever and let the helo drop to the floor. It will not sustain any damage.

  • my 5 year old brother has one of those, and soon as i got the trim perfect i let him have a fly.....(bang!) into the wall (smash into the light) i recommend it for people 10 plus...

  • I bought one of these from maplins And from the very first flight I flew it perfectly just like a proffesional rc heli pilot ,I Was well chuffed with myself... .And on the 3rd day of flying .. I SNEEZED WHILE FLYING IT Around my living room LOST CONTROL OF IT AND... SPLASH!!!! I Kamikazied it Straight into my dogs water bowl ....IT DIED..Sob

  • lol i had a chinhook i flow it into a very hot lamp and it burnt suprisingly it still worked but kept on banking to the left because of loss of weight.

  • Hey i got one too but dont no to fly i cant turn and steer

  • In the moments after take I have been

finding it best to use the yaw trimming knob to stabelize the aricraft, then I switch to using the joy stick. I find the control remains rather dynamic in this respect throughout the flight. This machine has become one of my favorite toys.

  • I got mine today and I'm very empressed with it. I just need some practice however as my last heli was 4 channel and this is only three but I'm getting better already. I might put some bright coloured paint on the nose so I can see which way round it is more easily.

  • I have the bigger s022 version of this chinook and have crashed it at very high altitude with minimal damage to rotors. It does not work well if there is ANY wind at all outside. It must be dead calm outside, but it is a lot of fun.

  • lol what are the chances i just got given one of these as a present and i see you have one Nightflyyer lol.

I just plugged it in, i think it's charging but there is no LED when charging like it says in the manual.

Ahh well just have to wait and see :)

  • I should be getting mine in a few days. I'm not expecting to be able to fly it out side. I would think that the maximum speed it can reach indoors represents the maximum wind speed it can cope with, and this is with a very skilled pilote at the controls.

  • I just got one of these for Xmas and have used it non stop since. They're just so fun and effortless :D definitely worth it from Maplin's in the UK for just £15.

  • its £40 in maplin i just looked i got one for £25 on the market tho :)

  • I am 54 years old, and bought this thing, just for giggles. Am having a blast, the good news, no matter how badly i crack it up i put it back on its wheels and take off again, not so with most straight wing r/c. It is durable teaches the the novice about the difference in Heli flying. Now I understand, flying a heli is like driving on the world's slickest ice! Just think about it and you are doing it, great way to build and imporve flying skills and also good Video!!!...Thanks Gianni
