You are wrong. Zelda isn't Link's rival, she's just his childhood friend. They're flying on the birds and she falls (because of that tornado) into hands of evil. Link cames back to Skyloft (floating island), gets knight's clothes (green tunic - in the begening of the game Links is training to become a knight), and sword, and heads to the land below clouds. There are no people, because Godness gathered them on small piece of land, and sent it to the sky.

@FlyingAce1016 I just liked that you could move while aiming with the bow in TP. Hopefully this game will have the same sort of deal since the control stick isn't being used to aim.

@Snaavelstopic The games position relative to the timeline doesn't dictate whether or not we will get to ride a horse. Link can ride a horse before OoT. There isn't a single reason why he couldn't. I think they will include a horse (or something horse-like) as a mount. I would like to see them throw in optional mounts, expanding on what they started in Twilight Princess. It would be cool to tame wild beasts and ride them around, haha.
@SalvableRuin i'd like to have a bird as a mount i know they'll probably never do that but it would have been epic. a horse will do and even without horse i'd still enjoy running at full speed.
@Atstyle Yeah, I wouldn't mind not having a mount, but I would prefer if it was an option. A bird mount (or flying mount of some kind) would be awesome. It won't happen this time around, but I can see Nintendo doing it in the future.

The new game of Zelda has progressed much interms of graphics although Yuri arn't in hd as many games are. Big deal i tuono this game has beautiful graphics but the scenery in which the actual game is set should be slightly improved and make it similar to majora's mask's scenery it would be certainly one of the best games ever made by Nintendo.
i think the only thing that worries me is that whenever i played sword play on wii sports resort i have to re-adjust my sword every time i swing which really gets on my nerves
@Kentuckyfrieddirt Yeah, that happens to me too. I think it might be the Motion Plus not being plugged in all the way because ocassionly I forget to lock it in and I swing the remote way too hard :P or something else but I'm sure Nintendo will fix it.

Like in real life when you want to climb a wall a little bit to high for your hands to reach, you run at the wall to get more impulse at the climb...same does Link

I like the whole sword combat idea in this I'm just not sure if it's something that should be implemented in a game like Zelda. When I think of the Zelda series combat isn't really the first thing that comes to mind but hey, I'm all for a new direction as long as it's fine tuned and polished.

I like how they've sort of blended the cell-shaded style of wind waker with the more "realistic" feel of ocarina of time/twilight princess. Looks great!
i personally think theyre giving too much of the game away. this game looks awesome, but judging from past experiences, im guessing its not going to be as good as it seems. dont get me wrong, this game looks like its going to kick ass, but if they release more right now then letting us wait for what when we play it, it will leave a suspense factor, which will make the game seem that much better when we actually play it. just saying.

Um, I hate it when that happens, but I don't think it's happening now... I mean, they've only shown this demo area and told us a few of the major parts of the storyline, but that's about it. There is a whole world that we haven't seen yet, we don't know anything about the villian of the game, any other characters besides for Link and the Skyward Sword-girl and there are much more story details. Compare the info released for this game with ST and you'll see it's not that bad.
Can't wait for it any longer! Art style is awesome, gameplay with motion plus just makes everething work perfectly and after all is a Zelda game, I want it NOW!

The graphics look very clean, crisp and colourful, which I think will aid in taking the visual focus of players away from the jagged edges of 3D objects - something that my friends complain about every time they see someone playing Wii.

Can't wait for it any longer! Art style is awesome, gameplay with motion plus just makes everething work perfectly and after all is a Zelda game, I want it NOW!

@BanjokazooieBeta And Wii will never get games like Elder Scrolls because it just cannot handle running the code. This is the ONLY good game that Wii will get (I have Twilight Princess already on gamecube & no I don't want a cookie for that)

The graphics look very clean, crisp and colourful, which I think will aid in taking the visual focus of players away from the jagged edges of 3D objects - something that my friends complain about every time they see someone playing Wii.

And the sword thing he does after that, cooool. Nintendo please don't take away Final Draw, or at least keep the cool sword move he does afterwards. Aaaah loved the "wing, wing ching..." sound. :D

@NovemberCrystal mmm I dont want to be rude or a jerk but i dont think this game will have those moves since it was announced that this game will be before Ocarina of Time in the timeline,....so as all we know Twilight Princess its like what 100s of years after Ocarina of Time, unless this Link becomes the misterious knight that teaches TP Link those awsome moves in this game, who knows, but personal i dont think will see those moves :/

@CocoForBird Well ya, i didnt say thats all that matters. I just said that TP has more a more "realistic" style than SS. And yea SS should be pretty fun, but what im worried about is that Nintendo makes the same mistakes they did in TP. Lets hope they listened to the people and make these changes for the better.

@BryceHunterTV So? Realism isn't all that matters. In fact, Twilight Princess's graphics weren't that good. Wii standards, anyway. Skyward Sword has beautiful and colorful graphics. Besides, it's ZELDA. It is going to be awesome, no matter what. :3

Many people LOVED how wind waked looked and felt
Many other people liked twilight princess graphics but it kinda turned out.... Fugly
It may take longer to make but wouldn't it be easier to make a ww mode and a tp mode?
It would satisfy more people
I personally LOVED ww but the games they made on ds didn't have the same feel as ww original
