  • I have one of these I bought out of a field to part for my singer gazelle DHC. I keep wanting to restore the Humber, however I seem to have promised my significant other that I would get rid of cars not restore more.

  • A FAB car! I want one!

  • how rare are they to find now?

  • Lovely little car that packs a punch with a lot of style! I learnt to drive on one

  • I wanted a MK1 Sceptre since I was 14 years old. I finally drove one that was for sale when I was 21. The suspension was tired etc and I thought "No, this ain't for me". I still like them and your one is especially cool.

  • i loveee these cars :)

  • I remeber they drove an old girl like this on Z cars

  • left hand drive. Where was that? Don't recognize the number plate. Also didn't know Humber exported to LHD countries.Nice car. I was 5 when that thing came out...

  • Rootes had a strong presence in the American Market. Before the VW Beetle took the title, America's best selling foreign vehicle was the 'umble Hillman Minx, Humber's sister company in the Rootes Group!

  • @potstillbill

    Great information!

The Hillman Minx was also built in Australia.

Later when Rootes became part of Chrysler, the Hillman Hunter was also built in Australia

  • nice English Car, congratulations!
