I personally know the woman that Rosie the Riveter was based on. Her name is Rosie and she is our Cafeteria lady in a small town in Manchester,MI. My friend is actually her great granddaughter. She is such a sweet lady and I never knew she was Rosie until my dad and I talked to her after church last year! Small world.
