The truth is, if the federal reserve were to be abolished the power to issue money would fall in the power of congress. What I figured, what the Fed is doing and has been doing, it is the same what the ECB (european central bank) is also doing. Same policies, same money printing scam. By creating a Gold Standard means you would create 1 dollar in money for every 1 dollar in gold you control or silver. The point is that it has an actual value. Imagine issuing a stock certificate that didn't have anything backing it. Just consider how much easier it would be to save money if inflation did not exist. A dollar under the mattress would be worth more in the future not less.

Robotics and Machines would be maintained and made sure they would benefit mankind instead of doing other things. When people don't have to work 80 hours a week or 60 hours a week, they're incentive would drastically shift and change.
When there is a fear of not having enough is because of our old conditioning and brainwashing into thinking we have to be consumers.
Instead of being extremely selfesh we can all be more honorable to others, but that has to change with us. We have to grow up.

People need The Basic Nessecities of life, food, water, energy, shelter, clothing, and education. I may be reading this wrong, and if I am I apologize, but your saying that the Government conspired the fair housing act as a way to abolish the fed. That I don't believe. If in fact the Fed saw fault with the fair housing act they probably wouldn't have left interest rates so low. I agree with you 100% that government involvement equals disaster. What I figured, what the Fed is doing and has been doing, it is the same what the ECB (european central bank) is also doing. Same policies, same money printing scam. That was 25 years ago, but even then, the statement by itself is misleading. IXQUICK "Grace Commission Report" then read it. It is very short for a government document. You can find the quote in less than a few minutes, and read what they said.

I know that not ALL of our tax dollars go to paying the interest on the debt, but even that's slowly changing. It was about a third of our dollars, when we were at $10 TRILLION, now we are near $24 TRILLION, and have lost 40% tax revenue from last year, so who knows, now?

By creating a Gold Standard means you would create 1 dollar in money for every 1 dollar in gold you control or silver. The point is that it has an actual value. Imagine issuing a stock certificate that didn't have anything backing it. Just consider how much easier it would be to save money if inflation did not exist. A dollar under the mattress would be worth more in the future not less.

I was a democrat up till a few months ago.
I now too believe after much research that Ron Paul may be one of the only people who can fix our current problems. As such, I no longer consider myself a democrat.

No!! We the people will own the money in our banks that we allow to have printed. We did it for over 100 years. Yes and no. 'Yes' in terms of the constitution, i.e. the government will "coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures". 'No', in that he advocates a gold standard where only gold and silver are legal tender. This takes away the Government's power to print money out of thin air. Without abolishing fractional reserve banking it is nearly irrelevant whether the central bank is privately owned or controlled by the Government.

Meh. I appreciate Kucinich on certain issues, but his advocacy of the Fairness Doctrine is detestable. Ron Paul is the only congressman I know of, in the House or Senate, who has always consistently upheld the Constitution. Nothing more. Nothing less.

great video up until the end, one piece of legislation at a time guy. we all need to support H.R. 1207 because that is the first step to ending the fed. you can't just get support to end the federal reserve you need to audit it to expose its true corruption. we all need to focus on one bill at a time.
