@Wobhero ...yes, paint does matter. When you shoot the bunker coming out you're hitting it at such an angle that the paint zings off to the side, which is mich much different than coming straighr back at ya.

I've never seen a paintball bounce off of an air bunker point blank and I've seen a LOT of paintball. I also don't know that 90% of decent players shoot the edge of the bunker as they try and come out fast. They want the shot off AS SOON as the barrel clears the edge.

what u need to know is that higher than 300 fps is unsafe, you can shoot lower or equal to that at your discretion. However, since guns never fire at the exactly same pressure every shoot u should adjust the fps slightly lower than 300, if your using CO2 i'd recommend adjusting the fps to ~275 fps. You can see the FPS with a Chronograph. Hope i helped.

Its ok man cos usually if you are new you will be wearing jeans, so the crotch area of your pants will be tight, so a apaintball will break on that instead of pushing your pants back into your nuts. i play lots and you dont get hit in the nuts often, ive been hit i nthe knob before and it dosnt hurt at all. haha.
