Perhaps the worst penalty call I have ever seen in my 12 years of watching Hockey. Loved Torts postgame saying to Hagelin (who has been amazing since his callup btw): Do it again

Unlike other recent goalie hits, this one has the "perpetrator" obviously attempt to avoid contact and the goalie's own teammate is the one who caused the most damage.

If officials were held responsible for their in-game calls, I am willing to bet that we would see fewer crap calls.

If you watch, Hagelin is in the motion of stopping. He also turns away so he doesn't cross-ckeck Bachman. The goalie came out to play the puck and ACCIDENTAL contact happened. Not a penalty and not a suspension.

Goalies outside the crease are not fair game, but they should be. The idea that someone can play the puck and not get touched is ridiculous. Goalies in the 70s got clocked and the forecheck was much better because of it.

That is a bullshit call. The goalie is playing the puck outside the crease and gets tagged. From what I saw he's fair game. Just like in boxing, "remember to protect yourself at all times." As any player will tell you, if you decide to step into the mix, you might just get hit, and that is the chance you take. Even in MLB if some player tries to steal home and runs over the catcher, he doesn't get penalized. Give me a break........

The goalie is in the FACEOFF CIRCLE!!!!! It's just as much the goalies fault for the contact as it was the player. As a player trying to out skate the defender aswell, the last thing I'm expecting is the goalie to interfere with the play. The Goalie should have been given a penalty on the play for interference!
