If he was alive to run for the President in '88 he would have stood a decent chance. I believe that if L. The assasination of Mr. McDonald was the strike that basically stopped the John Birch Society. He was going to take Robert Welch's place as head of the organization, and he was a great speaker. He would have been a great force for the organization and spreading the truth of the Conspiracy.
