@y0j14viayce afaik, ang cheerleading, nakafocus sa techs. ang cheerdance, techs and dance. kung titingnan yung criteria, binibigyan ng malaking weight ang dance/choreo sa cheerdance. sa cheerleading halos same lahat yan. (correct me if im wrong).

another thing is yung use of props, costumes, and of course, theme. imo, mas madali maggawa ng theme sa cheerdance.

-first, there are NO RULES regarding the limits/bounds of the number of partner stunts.

-second, there's a rule regarding the TOTAL NUMBER OF STUNTS that can be performed per team: it says, 3 STUNTS IS THE MINIMUM (NOT THE MAXIMUM) for jumps/leaps, lifts/stunts/gymnastics and pyramids.

There you go Sir/Ma'am. Go figure. Next time, please do get your facts straight, and contradict others respectfully as I did here.

@alexolder pinapanood ko yung replay ngayon. eto ang rules (1)Routines must have a school cheer yelled live, dance techniques, variety of formations, synchronization with music and cheers. (2) To count, 50% of the squad must perform a MINIMUM of 3 jumps/leaps, MINIMUM of 3 lifts/stunts, toss, gymnastics/tumbling, MINIMUM of 3 pyramids. (3) Maximum of 7 snares and 12 bass drums. (4) Routine should be between 4-5min long. (5) Cheerleaders may not perform outside the boundary line. Ano masasabi mo?

They are the cheer dance squad of the University of the Philippines. Their costumes were inspired by Madonna.

They're the UP PEP SQUAD or simply UP PEP. The competition is called the UAAP CHEERDANCE COMPETITION, participated by the 8 member-schools.

The UP PEP's theme this year was POPSTAR (aka Madonna). Unlike previous themes, this one is just merely for fun, giving tribute to Madonna, coach Lala's fave icon.

Inspired by Vogue (cone boobs?), the costume was designed using the school's official colors: maroon, green and white.
