thats actually not how it was done... there is a video on here of the creator of those videos, and its actually computer effects. what he does is he makes a cgi popcorn go up in the air, and then drops the real popcorn on the table. i think what is dangerous is the fact that you actually thought this trick was real, and took a microwave and used it (if you really did and that this isnt your hoax of a 'how to' video) to pop the corn.
