There's a big fuss over whether their ex-husband and wife or brother and sister. Don't know why people care though. Personally I prefer to think of them as brother and sister. They look slightly similar too.

No, theres just a big confusion. They used to be married, now divorced. Jack sometimes introduces Meg and his big sister, but they are not brother and sister.
